Place: Richardson Comments: I'm glad Ronney is doing fairly good but very concerned for Connie. I hope it doesn't get worse for her and will include her in my prayers. Thanks Ada Ann for getting the update.
Place: NH Comments: I just heard from Connie McKee Ronneys doing good, just mainly fatigued. I started having more symptoms over the weekend. Now on antibiotics. My doctor is calling me every morning having me record temp, BP & oxygen levels 4 times daily. I'm doing breathing treatments. She said day 10 is when some patients get worse. Keep praying I can keep from going to the hospital. Thanks for praying for us.
Place: Nh Comments: I PMed Connie on Facebook but didn't get an answer.
Place: Richardson Comments: No, nothing since he confirmed Connie also had the virus. I 'm really hoping they will both be OK.
Place: Richardson Comments: Wow, while looking up some data I saw where I officially retired from work on 11-1-2011. I began taking S. S. 6 mo later at age 64 and a half. I had written down my 3 jobs in life and the dates I started and left. I had worked 44 yrs and 3 months. Can't believe I've been retired for 9 yrs!! I actually thought I would have accomplished more in these 9 yrs!
Place: NH Comments: Thank you, Don! I like to spread my birthday out over a couple of weeks! Has there been any news from Connie and Ronney McKee?
Place: LV, TX Comments: A bit overdue, but ... Ada β We hope you enjoyed your big day and were righteously spoiled by your loved ones β mimosas & breakfast in bed β¦ OK, cake at least.
Place: Richardson Comments: I'm with you Ada Ann, this not seeing our kids & G-kids since 12-31-19 and not sure when we will see them again, it's depressing!! It really does cause your heart to ache. All we can do is hang in there and pray that God helps us get a good vaccine & we kick Covid's butt!!
Place: NH Comments: We haven't seen our CO kids since last Thanksgiving and don't know when we will see them. My heart aches to be with them. We are able to see the kids here in NH, but just for quick visits and not alot of hugging.
Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks guys, it's comforting to know I'm not the only one wrestling with this dilemma. I haven't talked with my niece & nephew or brother about it yet, I know they won't take it well. To mingle or not to mingle . . . that's the question?? And we're talking about our own family that doesn't reside in our household. Geez, I can hardly wait until Christmas . . . not!
Place: Kiestwood OC Comments: We are in deep sadness over canceling Thanksgiving. It`s our favorite..We don`t do xmas any more so all the worse.Thought about using a temperature check at the door, but [as we`ve learned] isn`t a SAFE alt.The pic`s of folks in hospitals can`t be denied.ALL of US are in the bullseye.Be safe please.
Place: Edmond Comments: SNL, I completely understand your dilemma. The holidays are the premier family time. But depending on the makeup of the family (ages and potential exposures) you just donβt know. Given the unpredictable impacts of the disease on any given person, you may not get a chance to reconsider your choice.
Place: Richardson Comments: Oh, and one more little tidbit for tonight, turn your clocks BACK 1 hr for the return of DST!
Place: Richardson Comments: I agree Paul, this yr has been one disappointment after another. It just gets worse as the yr goes on. Now I'm wrestling with the decision of " to see my brother & his family or not!" for the holidays. It's making me sick. Is anyone else deliberating over this question? My brother has 2 grown kids and I don't know where they may have been or who they may have been around. It's breaking my heart trying to do the right thing.
