I have just been released from quarantine. Connie is still in the hospital here in Allen, TX. She will most likely remain in the hospital for awhile. Thank for all the kind words and concerns. We appreciate all of you.

Again Ada Ann, thank you for reaching out & then giving us an update on Ronney & Connie.  I can only imagine how upsetting it is for Ronney being home & Connie in the hospital. It really does take a Village with all of us working together to keep us informed.

They will be in my thoughts & continue to be in my prayers.

Earlier, I called and spoke with Ronney. He is getting better and coping with Connie's hospitalization.
Later, I received a message from Connie. She said:
Ada, thanks for calling. They are increasing my steroids due to asthma. Will start Remdesivir and Convalescent plasma when find a match with my blood type, A+. PTL, no pneumonia!

Please everyone, be careful.  None of us can predict if we will be the easier case...or the tougher one.

I had to admit Connie into the hospital here in Allen (Presbyterian Hospital), last night. This virus was not allowing her to get enough oxygen.I am home not quite knowing which way to turn.

As one who served the United States for 40 years, some years in foreign lands, I say this with more intent than I EVER have:  GOD bless America, land that I love.  Right now, the need is for relationships, not politics. I never dreamed the country I was serving would come anywhere close to what it has become.  So I am resolved to due whatever little bit I can to help us claw our way back to being a righteous not rebellious country. My best regards to you all.

Yes, it is a sad day and time for America!  All the thugs & rioters want to do is raise cane and destroy property, then steal the contents.  If someone doesn't agree with them they go ballistic and act as if they were personally harmed.  No one seems to understand that in any race for anything . . .  there's only one winner. There is no respect for anything other than their own agenda.

I didn't vote for President Obama but, he won the election and he was the President and deserved to be called President.  Just because someone is elected other than who you voted for doesn't mean they aren't the President.  As Aretha was noted for saying, "R-E-S-P-E-C-T".  It goes a long ways in solving a lot of problems.  Take care everyone!

I never thought I'd see this day in America. Down-towns are boarding up their buildings and extra barriers are being put-up around federal buildings. We are now expecting riots and looting to take place. How has this become the "normal"? How is this allowed to happen? Thugs and thieves are allowed to run rampant burning and destroying property? Highways are allowed to be blocked off. What has happened to law and order? A sad day in and for America.

Good to hear Ronney. This yr has been one disappointment after another.  Unable to celebrate family & friends birthdays, anniversaries, and now the holidays!

Ronney & Connie and Dana, get better soon!  [love]

Connie & I are hanging in there. Crummy day. It is my 73rd birthday and I cannot go out to celebrate. We are doing pretty well. I am coughing a bit. I just feel extremely exhausted. But I think we will be fine. Thanks for your concern.

What will greet us Wednesday morn
Maybe Gabriel will blow his horn
But we shouldn’t be forlorn
After all, we’re American born

ok...I will stop now 😉
