John, with a face like Lyle's he'd better have a jockeystrap that can't be held...something must have gotten Julia Roberts' attention.

Hello, Jack Hawkins! I hope your prolonged absence from posting here means the dental equipment repair business is booming.

The last time I presented you with a present, you walked off and left it at the Double Tree. So, no Snuggie ("comes in a choice of 3 colors") for you.

If you are planning to head this way to avoid the coming cold front, I'd suggest you bunk at Smiley's place. It is closer by at least 10 miles; and HIS wife has been known to cook (whereas, my wife only lifts a skillet when she is upset with me).

You had to bring up my arch-nemesis MMM, huh? In my book, Michael Martin Murphey couldn't hold Lyle's jockeystrap. But I imagine "Wildfire" sold more copies than "If I Had A Boat".

Linda, I would consider it an honor if you too would call me RickyPoo, but Rudy might not like it. Thanks all for  the kind wishes of BD.
John, if I had stayed at TI they wouldn't be in the mess they are in now.

There goes that "Rickypoo" from SNL again.  Such familiarality(?). Happy birthday, Rick.  Hope you have a great (and warm) one.

Happy Birthday Rick!!      Glad you are lasting longer than the Viet Nam peace accord!!
John, what's the temperature there and what is the forecast?? Since I didn't get a snuggy for Christmas (never did get a box from you) I can't get my hands out from under the covers to turn the page of my big book. Please post directions to your house so we can ALL come stay with you till the warm up. I'd be willing to bring back Dale's 16MM if you will pick it up from him (and clean it up) so the films could be review twice as fast.
Maybe you can take us to lunch and introduce us to your new friend, Lyle. Beats the heck out of MMM, doesn't he??

Is that the same Michael Collins that has the famous son that works as a Rodeo Cowboy Saver? (Bull distraction engineer)

Dale, you are not alone in owning a working 16 MM projector!    Hard to believe, but Michael Collins from 64 also has one!  You guys are amazing!!  I really appreciate your offer, but the drive to & from Conroe might be a bit too much.  Although, I bet your projector has a much more colorful history!

Thanks for all the great tips & info I recvd.  Our SOC Network really works!  That's why SOC Friends are the Best!

Major Birthday Greetings to Rick Watts, the man who put T.I. on the map.

[sidebar to Don Lincoln: Due to budget cutbacks, we'd appreciate you not acknowledging any further birthdays so Sandy Mc won't have to bake any more cakes]

A Very Happy Birthday Wish to Rickypoo this morning!  The Viet Nam Peace Accord may have been signed on this day, but I doubt that's why your mom remembers this day!!    Have a good one Rick!

Thanks Don and JD, but another great thing happened on this day.  On Jan 27, 1973 the peace accord ending the Viet Nam War was signed in Paris.

H a p p y  B i t h d a y wishes go out to Rick Watts, on 1/27!  Hope you have a great one, Rick, & that you don’t get hauled-in during the next birthday party raid on the ‘Pit’ – assuming they have another!
