Comments: Memo To Don Lincoln: Wasn't Johnny "the Shovel" one of the characters who worked for Tony Soprano? "The Shovel" ... I like it!
Comments: Jack, Jack, Jack, it wouldn't kill you to walk more then a few feet once in awhile! I love Firewheel Shopping! About two weeks before Christmas Don & I went to buy some things at Circuit City. We had no problem parking and then walked to several other stores and ate at a great restaurant. It was fun & the streets were filled with people taking in the decorations, food & shopping experience. Just park your car and enjoy it! There are many excellent restaurants on those streets.
Comments: Gee McMakin, looks like you had the delux model. The one with a 4 burner stove top in addition to the oven!! ![]()
Comments: Richard; Here's a mental picture of Firewheel for you. Think of Wynnwood shopping center with bad architecture and narrow streets.
Comments: RE: Firewheel. It doesn't make any difference what store you want to visit. You can't park close to any of them. I think the owners/employees park in front of each store and don't move till closing time. There are parking lots on the fringe, so you can park and walk in the sun/rain/sleet/snow. Sandy Mc. You don't want an Aggie engineer unless you want your animal engineered. TT engineers are good at theory but have no application skills. If you can't get Rick(y-poo) to work you into his busy schedule, we will find someone else to do your repair.
Comments: Ada - My prayers continue, as well, for your successful & prompt recovery. This place needs your wit, sense of humor & we send our love in return.
Comments: John - Maybe we should start calling you the 'Shovel' (JS), 'cause you always seem to be 'shoveling it' or digging yourself a hole. But, I could be wrong - maybe it's just a big paddle for stirring things up or lightning rod for attracting T & L. Either way, the g/b is a lively place to wield as you please. ![]()
Comments: Ada Ann, HANG IN THERE GIRL..My thoughts & prayers are with you...Sincerely, Bovie
Comments: Richard - Firewheel is definitely a place - Has lots of shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater, and now even has apartments. It is its own little world. It is not a mall, each shop has parking in front of it like stores used to be.....when it rains or its really cold you really have to know which store you want to go to!
Comments: Besides which - JS - we definitely would not be giving you a vote on which movie we would be going to see.
Comments: TEACHING GIRLS THEIR PLACE ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() EXCUSE ME![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() By the way GNO is off limits to guys, even those with pink nail polish.
Comments: Today Dale uncovered this vintage poster depicting a young Sandy McMakin and her very first Easy Bake Oven. The corporate slogan brings a tear to my eye and says it all: http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/e-z_bake.jpg
Comments: Either day is great for me.
Comments: Joyce and Jerry....Happy Anniversary to you! AND a pair of grandones in April....life is good!
Comments: Jerry - That's fantastic, another set of twins for this grp!! I'll certainly keep your son & his wife in my prayers for a safe birth. It's always scary when its multiples bec you don't want them coming too early. I think you & Ada Ann will become grandparents around the same time, how great is that! |
