Comments: So Jack, not that I'd want to stir up another whirlwind of politics, but I note that Democrats consistently fight the notion of lower taxes....now I know why; they don't pay their taxes anyway so who cares ie, Tom Daschel, et al. Any thoughts Southworth?
Comments: Was that a Freudian slip?? Attract then attack???? Now we know your M.O.
Comments: That's "attract"...not attack....maybe.
Comments: Jack, a helmet wouldn't have gone over that hair...too much hairspray (I was adhead my time). You may be right about the pads in the pants; I remember the ol' potato in the pants trick to try and attrack girls, but my brother told me I should have put it in front....go figure.
Comments: Richard, You know you would have NEVER put your helmet on, it would have messed up your hair!!! I'm sure the girls would have enjoyed you in uniform. Specially those pants!! You would have probably put the hip pads on backwards.
Comments: Buddy, you didn't find any film of me combing my hair did you?...now, that would be archive material. I remember thinking about joining the ball team, but I couldn't really run, hit, catch or throw the ball...I just thought I'd look good in a uniform.
Comments: DWF- leave McGee's TD (The Catch) in WWW game on the cutting floor. I like remembering him as bUTTERFINGERS.
Comments: Thanks to SNL for taking the first snap to start the games. Some good pictures of cheerleaders (Sammy's smiling face broke the projector), Band, and Debs + Stands. As RN said once "A Blast Form The Past" this past week end looking at the Golden Bears. Chairman of the board DWF will have his hands full. luv u guys
Comments: SNL caught me. 83 miles each way to/fro work. Several years ago, Mike Jacks and had lunch together and two years ago Don L. and I had lunch the day before the ceremony for Victor at the Wall. Stay warm yall.
Comments: My sympathies go out to our cold climate classmates. Remember, you are all welcome to return to Texas at your earliest convenience. Thank you Buddy and Gary for being so generous. I know all the players will appreciate what you are doing. The Golden Bears were a phenomenal team and gave us all plenty to cheer about.
Comments: I am also "Chicago tough". I drive 53 miles each way from home (in northern Virginia) to work (in Rockville MD) and back daily. Only once when we got over 40" of snow have I truly been unable to get around up here. The reason they are so quick to close the schools is the Maryland and Virginia like to keep the "revolutionary war" look by not building freeways. We have lots of two lane road with no curbs. Not good for school buses.
Comments: I think Naldo (?) is Ron Barker. He lives in Orange, VA. Thank you Buddy & also Gary Hudspeth for being so instrumetal in making this overtwhelming project happen! The class of 66 appreciates you!!
Comments: You're right...it is quiet. Who is it that live in DC (Naldo?). I used to live in Suitland MD when I was with the FBI.
Comments: Que pasa? No entries since yesterday? Am I the only one awake? I've become "Chicago Tuff" and came to work in a snow storm (Crystal City). I can see the Capital from here. Maybe after he drives his kids to school a couple of times he'll buy the District a few snow plows and a load of salt.
Comments: Note to Self: Late this year find a way to safely land a plane full of passengers on the Hudson River, thereby assuring yourself an invite to the next Super Bowl game. |
