Comments: Hey guys, I have a bet going with a lady where I work. Some of you great memory gods back me up. There was a t.v. show on Saturday's in the early 50's. You sent off for a kit that included a transparency film that fit over the t.v. screen. When the character came on you could interact by drawing on the transparent film. My bet is the name of the show was "Winky Dink and Me". She says no. Anyone remember this show?
Comments: Sandy and Don, CONGRATULATIONS YOU NEWLYWEDS !
Comments: And in Life's noisiest hour, There whispers still the ceaseless Love of Thee, The heart's Self-solace and soliloquy. You mould my Hopes, you fashion me within; And to the leading Love-throb in the Heart Thro' all my Being, thro' my pulse's beat; You lie in all my many Thoughts, like Light, Like the fair light of Dawn, or summer Eve On rippling Stream, or cloud-reflecting Lake. And looking to the Heaven, that bends above you, How oft! I bless the Lot that made me love you. The Presence of Love Samuel Taylor Coleridge Happy Valentines Day...
Comments: McGee: You are bringing back memories of our days on Rocky Ridge Road. My backyard had a pretty steep slope. I remember those icy days. One college kid (I can't remember his name, but he lived next door to Janice Hale) who lived on Glen Forest had a sled. He would bring it over to our house and we would take turns sliding down my back yard and down the alley. What fun that was. I can't remember if my brother, Tom, participated in that or not. But, we had a GREAT time. I still miss living on Rocky Ridge. Sally, Barb D. and Sandy Joe, don't forget that Mike Adkins (sax player in band) also lived on Rocky Ridge. He lived across the street from me.

Comments: Sandy and Don, Happy Anniverary! 24 years! WOW!
Comments: Thanks to Sandy McGee and others who confirmed the old neighborhood was "Glenview", not Singing Hills. [Dale Smiley, take note ... I'll collect later]. I can remember that my folks wished they lived in Singing Hills. It was considered upscale to the homes in Glenview. As kids we would razz our friends who lived in Singing Hills by accusing them of living in Screaming Hills. On a more important topic, Dru and I would like to take a moment to wish SNL and Don a very happy anniversary and a romantic Valentine's Day.
Comments: Sally, Barb D., we did live in Glenview. The people that lived in Singing Hills had the bucks. There was a golf course, lots of hills, nice houses. I would walk over to Wayne Pennington's house and slide up and down the streets when school was closed due to ice and snow. Old Cable Guy Fugate would join us, we had to wake him up. The boy partied all night , would sleep late. We did spend alot of time at the end of Rocky Ridge. All you girls wore those tight short shorts. Really nice, and you thought we just wanted to play, tee hee.....
Comments: Sandy and Don, I wish you a very happy anniversary....celebrate all day! To all of you, happy Valentine's Day....make someone happy!
