Comments: Barb, welcome...nice looking grandson...congrats. Mr. Tillery, RN...I have never heard great things of National health care from other countries...I guess we will find different opinions depending on the person...ex: if someone had no health care they love it...if not...well who knows.
Comments: Great news about your mom, Shortcake - we'll keep our prayers going til she's toasting with a wine glass, like Ada's mom. Ada - Our prayers for your successful treatment & recovery will continue til you're toasting with them & hopefully us again in the not too distant future. Comments: They went in and did a heart cath on Mom yesterday and found one blockage. They used a balloon on her and put in one stint. Hopefully this is going to solve her problem.  I am leaving on Friday morning for Galveston and will be there until Wednesday so just in case I don't get to tell everyone - Happy Valentine's Day.
Comments: Barbara DB - what a handsome and happy young fella you have. I know just how much you enjoy him. I just mailed today my grandones Valentine cards (with money in them) today. It's fun shopping for them and picking out anything for the little ones. It's good to hear from you. What a bunch of goobers (boys) we have on the GB. I never realized how funny, clever, insightful, and opininated they are. It's fun and can be surprising. I wish I'd noticed 40+ years ago.
Comments: Barb Duncan, hey girl how ya doing? This is your old neighbor from Rocky Ridge. Your Grandson is a winner. Give him a golf club and a beer can to play with. He has potential to be a Golden Bear. I have two, one coming next week. And a fourth will be here in August. All boys, healthy, loving, and active. Come to Big D this summer. These mini's are a great time.

Comments: It's my pleasure to post him Barbara! Sorry it has been taking me so long to make changes on the site. Seems like I have a lot less time since we moved into the house. Weekends are full & at night after supper & cleaning up the kitchen, I'm bushed! I could use more Grandone photos as this yr has started slow. Richard, how 'bout that snow angel photo you were talking about? Sounds very cute! Don't forget to look at the EVENTS pg & mark the date! With the rough year our grp had last yr . . . you don't want to miss a chance to see your friends!!

I have s/w Double Tree & made arrangements for our Get-Together. Rhonda is no longer there but t/w Mgr, Kellie Faughn, & she took care of everything. Still able to obtain the $79 per night room rate! The invite with reservation info is posted on EVENTS pg. Also new Grandone pic. New Grandma sent us a very cute photo! See Pride & Joy pg. BTW - Don't forget Valentines Day on Saturday 2-14!! Not if you want to live to see the 15th!!  
Comments: KMG...that is ironic....if Sophie had been a boy, she would have been Luke! They are destined to be together. I will start my radation and chemotherapy on Wed, Feb. 18. I will have 28 radation treatments and the chemo will be 24/7. CO Joe will visit us this weekend....so excited to see him. Judea can't come because she is incubating Sophie! KRL....how is your Mother? Mine is holding her own...started going to happy hour and drinking wine....turning point!
Comments: Richard/JD - while we were in Denmark on vacation, we talked at length with our tour guide who sang the praises of their health care program. Reading the posts between you and JD made be think about what it is that makes us love our grandones on a different level...it has to be their innocence and their willingness to trust us unconditionally. They make getting old worth every minute of it - which makes me think of that catchy phrase...if we knew that grandchildren were so much fun, we would have had them first!
Comments: Thanks, Toni. I have been looking at Craigslist also but just haven't found a casual dining set I liked there yet. I will keep trying. If anyone knows of any outlet stores for any furniture manufacturers in the area, let me know. Hey Ada Ann, it appears that Sophie's future boyfriend will be named Luke if the choice still stands in June when he is born. Luke and Sophie, I think it has a nice ring to it.
