Comments: If Dale's a rancher now, I'd have to guess that his 'limo' is a stretch F-150 'King Ranch Ltd Edition', complete w/saddle tan cowhide bucket seats, plasma wide-screen screen & built-in ice chest for long necks. Oh yeah - 3-tier gun rack over the back window, w/shotgun, rifle & ax handle. Close? Just hop in & ride on up here in style, where we can B. S. with elbows on the bar & charge-up JD's tab! ![]()
Comments: Don L., be careful what you ask for. You don't get enough of my cheep B.S. via the Guestbook? However, I'll have to admit that Dru and I met some nice folks at last June's event and enjoyed some great Italian food later that evening and some ... uh, "spirited" company. Just this morning I was at the Smiley's home, raggin' on Dale to commit to June 13th. My thought being, maybe I can ride up to Dallas with them in the Limo. You know ... do it in style. Will keep you posted on the trip status.
Comments: JS - You oughta make plans to join us on 6/13 also. I owe you a b'day drink anyway - Sandy McM also - plus, RN & Toni will need help restraining JD at the bar - maybe Sally, too. Not that he'll throwing down during the arguments, but forcing him to let others take turns buying the drinks. Now, if he throws down on me, then we'll all have his c/c for lunch! ![]()
Comments: RN...I'll be there with bells on! Would really like to see MR. Ed & Mrs Barbara. U 2 RN...if U can make it.
Comments: Speaking of the 13th gathering...ED ARNOLD, are you & Barbara going to drive over this time around? I could sure be encouraged to fly over if that's the case. Also, JD, I was under the impression you couldn't make this one.
Comments: Doc, I wouldn't even know how to hold the moth. My aunt used to say, "be patient, I only have two pair of hands".
Comments: From my Mom - "Nothing good ever happens after midnight". "Don't make me have to ask you twice"
Comments: Now for some humor. We had a hail storm the other night in Southlake. While watching the news that night the weatherman reported the hail was as big as moth balls. Does anyone know how big a moth balls are? How about things your Mother use to say when you were a kid? Keep doing that and you'll put your eye out. Anyone remember any?
Comments: As Chuck Berry would say,,, Go Go Go little Queenie. And my mother is from England. Right Buddy C?
Comments: Love you RN. You should visit June 13th...then I could buy the drink.
Comments: Rick - How much you charging for a home visit? Does it include a hug?
Comments: Well Jim, looks like I missed Andy and Mary Kate too. I'm back from the OC now. If any one wants to pay me to come see them in California or anywhere else you can contact me on the GB. Ta-Ta.
Comments: JD, being wrong doesn't make you a liar. You just have a different perspective on things; and a bit emotional. And, I haven't noticed you paring your views on world events, and there's no reason you should. With the exception of one vote (the President), I suspect we both voted pretty much the same, though for different reasons. Typing stuff like this out on a blog can be perceived as fairly "cold" and direct. Personally, that's not my style. I can assure you, we could have a bloody political discussion at the bar and laugh all the way through it.
Comments: RN: I'm trying extremely hard not to voice my opinions on the political scene as it is impossible to get anyone on the Obama side to see the big picture. And I get called a liar and or accused of not having m facts. Having said that, this morning, I heard a radio story that stated our President agreed to allow some commission in Europe to have some form of jurisdiction over our banks and industries if they deemed it was necessary...now this time I will share that I don't have all my facts...but neither does SNOOPS. But if this is true in any form...then Obama just gave up our country's sovereignty to the European Union...and that should raise more eyebrows for anyone... As far as the Senator...that's the Democrats for you...unless it is their man...in fact if you are a Democratic Senator...you can kill women and stay in office. That's all I've got to say...and that's a real fact...of course if SNOOPS says it's not. Toni & Richard...your political choices are yours...not a problem. I just hope we all have choices in the future...by the way...isn't anyone concerned about the "Civilian Security Force" that supposedly will be armed as well as our Military...sounds like "Brown Shirts to me".
Comments: ...the farther I go the more I realize that there is really no need to further my standing in this group....as long as you all love me, it really doesn't matter that I'm a Democrat. Thanks, Richard! You and I seem to be on the same page regarding President Obama. To be totally and politically correct...the faux pas which took place yesterday were initiated by HRH Queen Elizabeth. It appears that Queenie was attempting to show her subjects that she really isn't as stuffy as they believe or anticipate her to be when she put her arm around Michelle Obama....even if it meant she had to call for a member of the royal guard to stand on to look Michelle Obama in the eye. ![]() |
