Comments: Since you folks are on the Neiman's subject; I have the recipe (secret recipe) for Neiman's hot fudge sundae which was released on their 25th anniversary (my dad retired from NM and brought it to me). If anybody wants it, let me know & I'll scan and post it. There's lots of chocolate recipes on the web, but none touch this one. Also, this is not part of the weight watchers program, but one should indulge on occasion.
Comments: I almost forgot...there's reorder number inside the lid...does that mean we can reorder them any time, J.D. That was so thoughtful of you.
Comments: ...Shortcake, I was just about to leave work and a gentlemen met me at the front door with a lovely box of c/c cookies...what a sweet surprise! Only thing is....the card said from J.D. so I guess thanks are in order, J.D. Wish you were here to enjoy them with us!

Comments: John I love the photos! Looks like Mr. Ben Matthews was very highly thought of as far back as anyone can remember. It is such a shame he died so young. I think we will all agree . . . 61 is very young!!!
Comments: Okay, this is my last "Ben A. Matthews" installment. I promise. Sammy Hughes ('63) sent me the following pic of Matthews at age 26. Young Ben is the History teacher and Athletic Coach for Westminster College in 1929. The pic is from the 1929 yearbook called "The Wigwam". The school was a junior college located 6 miles from Mexia in a little town called Tehuacana. Sammy's aunt attended there and he inherited her yearbook. http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/hughes2.jpg The old main building built around 1900 is still standing but the school closed back in 1950. Comments: OK Guys, Don Lincoln is in town on government business. McGee and I have committed to meet with him Thursday evening and would like for you guys to join us. Between what's left of JD's credit card and Don's travel allowance, we should be able to get a hot dog and small coke to share. McGee's computer is on the fritz and Don "forgot" his so you'll need to contact me for the info. Call or email me. I think it is free shoe rental night at the bowling alley!!
Comments: Before noon the cr cd company had to raise JD's limit!! JD, we had them up it another 20K. You're in gooood shape now!
Comments: Linda, Lisa and I are going to get air brushed when we get to California just before the wedding. I think I will try it here first. Karen, you would of been more than welcome to have gone shopping with us, but we went this morning. And I think JD is maxed out. Tweedy is Tweety's cousin. I glad someone knew.

Comments: I thought the Botox Kid had his own tanning bed at his home. Well, Toni, I guess you are not only skipping out but taking Bruce with you too. Now I'll have NO ONE to watch my back, cover me while reloading and help fight the wet hens. Unless one of you guys commits to 4th of July party/soggy bottom splash water cannon fight, it will be just I, alone, against the female fatials. I MIGHT go down, But I will go down spewing, gushing and fighting. I'd better go look up W. B. Travis' letter from the Alamo. I gotta feelin I'm goina be needing it.
