Richard, I love to exercise, it's just hard to find the time in my line of work.
I agree with you 100%.  It's always hard to get back once you've stopped and you can't get back what you had, so you gotta keep it up.  I'm with you...I want to run over the finish line.
I'm doing weights right now and have a personal trainer.

...and Don L., I wasn't Bush bashing....just trying to give the devil his due.

Linda...good stuff there. You may want to consider what Bovie told me at the reunion; something I've started and in fact it's working. It didn't surprise me that Bovie kept in shape. What was surprising was how "well' he's kept in shape. He said that while the walking, jogging, sports and aerobics are all fine, you need to get into a gym and practice resistance training (weights).  Turns out his spot on; one without the other can be damaging. Mary Ann & I have kicked up our exercise regimen a few notches and noticing the difference.  I've decided I don't fear going to "the other side"...I just don't want to crawl across when it's my time.

Coasty Don...how brown is your nose today...have you looked in the mirror?  So you like the way SNL runs the complaint department! Well, I guess everyone but me understood that...

Look...so Spanish, no language but English...how boring!

And Pool Guy...why in the world would I even try pick up lines in Spanish...when they never worked in English?? Are you kidding my friend...I couldn't pay anyone to even think about letting me pick them up...well maybe Bovie might !

OK, RN - Skating on thin ice - Bush-bashing recollections & throwing in a Spanish word at the end.  You may have bagged your quota for the day.

As a former 'Coasty' Radioman, I'd try morse code, but I seem to recall SNL learned that from her dad, a former Navy man.  So, I'll have to keep it clean:

Richard -- I still do jazzercise, have been going regularly for almost 8 yrs.  But, today my right leg is hurting and feels swollen; just another day in the life of aches and pains.  It could be worse.
The youngest person at my place of employment is now 56 yrs. old, so we're all on the same aging track.

I haven't seen this much flack since I compared Bush to Satan...or El Diablo, whichever.

On a flip side, I've been looking into this whole 'aging" thing which we're all headed into rapidly.  It seems that, barring injury & illness, one of the big concerns is leg muscles....they go fast and leads to falling, balance, etc.  I've cranked up my phys-ed mode and now walking 2-4 miles everyday.  I recommend it, as it's not going to get any easier as we get older.  This isn't weight watchers, though there is that benefit. It's more about slowing, and maybe even reversing, muscle loss in your legs.  Any thoughts on this?....to boring?....don't care?.....no comprende?

Pool Guy, too funny!   If we charged JD by-the-word, he'd have to start using that infamous Cr Cd!!

Ms. SNL, the guys at the labor center in McKinney would like to use the GB to send messages to their girl friends in Mexico. Evidently the Cheezehead has mastered the use of pickup lines in Spanish.
If we charge by the word, can I get a commission on this?

Excuse me Ms McMakin - favorites???  JD - Heavy handed???  Please, what world are ya'll in??

Mr Smiley, Mr Nance, Mr Watts & the lovely Mrs. Davis have all posted a few phrases & words in Spanish & on occasion French.  BUT, they did not continually put all their posts in another language & some being quiet lengthy.  Some don't know when to quit & run things to a hole in the ground.  This is an English speaking site & as I said earlier, if you want to post a few words or a phrase in another language. . .  go ahead!  But if you want to write everything in Spanish, find a Spanish speaking GB & have at it.  We are not gng to have the "Press 1" for English option on this site.  After the first year or so of doing this site, I learned a very valuable lesson . . .  No matter what you do, you can't please everyone!!  So I have continued with the same ethic I swore by when I created this site, Do what's BEST for the Majority of the participates!

Lo siento si he causado un problema SNL.

Why do we always have to get so heavy handed...I always thought fun was fun...there was never a bad word, never a negative comment regarding anyone...not even an old "ICE HOLE" joke.

But obviously my Russian message was too much this morning...gosh...all I said was Good Morning...not my fault it takes so many Russian symbols to say that small phrase...

Don...SNL is always invited to play with the big boys...helmets or not !

Toni...never would I ignore you...was just trying out my new Spanish in 30 days and was trying to get my money's worth...would be pleased to eat Mexican with you and shortcake...I get to town on Tuesday the 9th...will have my specific time tomorrow night and will advise...however, we could always eat on Wednesday the 10th.

Ada...being home is always better...keep us posted...I'm still lighting candles.
