Comments: SNL - I'll be at the Double-Tree Fri. & Sat. nights - coming solo again. Kathy needs to catch-up on work for her boss-lady, plus 4 pets to sit for. I told her I'd cover for her to run over to LA for a GNO with her gal friends as a payback. I was coming up this evening, but t-storms, large hail & 2-3 tornadoes in the Cedar Park/Round Rock area put a damper on things. No damage out here, but we just finished having our roof replaced today from the storm a coupla months back. This is our 3rd roof replacement in 13 yrs. Also, I didn't want the truck to get a bad case of 'dimples', plus the Xmas tree I'm delivering for Bovie might've gotten all tore up. 
Comments: But it is those extra pictures that I have. Don't worry I'll give you the copies as a wedding gift. You know I was in law enforcement long enough to know not to leave all the evidence laying around where just anyone can get hold of it
Comments: I think Conan is too absorbed with his own nipples and not enough on universally appealing comedy. He has had a few funny skits but for the most part, his appeal and sense of humor is very limited. BTW, I really liked the "Sally O'Malley" kicks that you incorporated into your speech.
Comments: Karen---DAHHHHLING Fernanda---YOOOOUUUUUU look so MAHHHH-VELOUS, you sweetie pie. Love that Billy Crystal "Fernando Lamas" catch-phrase. Thanks for your kind words. BTW----Is Conan growing on anyone yet? I'm running out of patience!
Comments: Shortcake, luckily Mike is in law enforcement and was able to call in a favor and "spring" me and expunge my background. And if you've never had your background expunged, you don't know what you're missing.
Comments: Hey Tallcake - they got a really got pic of you running out of the Hotel after you set off the alarm. Don't worry - we held off for at least 30 seconds before we told them it was you!
Comments: SNL, we are staying Friday & Saturday nights at the hotel. We have a wedding in the HEB area on Friday night and thought it best to just stay put on Saturday night after an afternoon of fun!
Comments: So is no one else besides JS & JD staying at the Double Tree??
Comments: Way to go little "a"! Great, engaging story, wonderfully told. You look mah-velous also. Girl, how did you remember such a long speech and without a teleprompter?  The prez could take pointers from you. 
Comments: Rev. and Mrs. Smiley, it was so delightful to have you and the Mrs to grace us with your presence at the dinner last night. You both look great.  It was good to see everyone...even our surprise guest.....Gary D.  It was too early this morning to post by the time I got home. In fact I unplugged everything even the computer because of the warnings going off and the force of the rain, wind and lightning. The hotel is still without power. I am headed that way now. Please pray for electricity for those that especially need it. I need it for the hotel, but I know there are probably those that need it more. A good time was had by all last night. Dagley, Moss, open invitation to ride on Saturday and stay for dinner? I promise to be nice.

Comments: I think we're getting rained out of this trip. JD, we still might make it to Chips tonight, but if we get cancelled again, we're headin' for Palm Springs.

Comments: Again, JD, sorry I couldn't be there. I had to make my way from Frisco to Sachse long after the time everyone was already having dinner, and under the duress of a tornado alert and massive thunderstorm. I just barely had time to stop and set off the fire alarm. Whooops!  SNL and Barb, please put Mike and I down for pizza on Saturday. Yummm! |
