   As most know the Da Bear golfers hit the round ball today. But what really was important was the friendship and not how you play was the winner from the getgo. Sandy Joe (I can't believe this is coming from me) did a specially good job in giving Donnie Fugate the winning purse in Honor of his grandson, Brandon, to the BMF Project. The gift of giving at our age Donnie is a true honor and I say this from the heart and for the brothers of SOC. All the BS was just a cover on this 6/12 rodeo on the golf course. All trust me on this we receive a bigger kick back in life giving than receiving as a witness today. 

I was actually going to ask Don about that Sandy but I did not figure he would tell me the truth.     or he would just laugh.

I know most of the guys aren't here tda so girls & those non-golfers listen up!  This is very important & I need your help for tmo's party!!  Abt 6 wks ago the Double Tree opened a restaurant in the hotel.   You know what that means... they don't allow you to bring your own food in, especially if you're gng to be taking up the whole bar area and sitting around eating it in front of other guests!!   I just found out yesterday & have been negotiating like crazy.  The hotel is actually pretty full with another grp staying there, but they will be away at activities all day Sat.  So here's the deal we worked out.  Their ballroom is not being used.  They will set up enough table & chairs for our pizza party participates & we will move into the ballrm at abt 6:15!  That gives us a few minutes to clean up the mess we made in the bar area & take all our stuff into the other area while we wait for pizza to arrive.  Shd be there apprx 6:45.  So if everyone will help pick up your personal items & head on into the ballroom when I ask, I wd really appreciate it.  Oh, YES the BAR will remain OPEN & you can continue to run your tab & drink!!  I knew that question wd come up!!    This in no way compromises our party Sat, it just means instead of leaving at 6:15 like we usually do & driving to IFrateli's . . .  instead we will walk abt 50' & eat delivered pizzas in a pvt dining area!   But I must warn you, you'll have to get up & get your own drinks & pizza slices . . . Barb & I aren't serving!!
