My sister said it is could go down to as low as 1 degree tonight in the DFW area!  That is terrible!  We haven't gone below the high teens in NYC. I do remember this happening one year after Christmas when I was there some 35+ years ago!
Ada, I too have all groceries delivered and I am getting the second vaccine tomorrow.  I am lucky to have a (zoom) tai chi teacher who is a nurse at the hospital nearby. She told the class that the hospital was beginning to give the vaccine so I was one of the first to be given one there. Ever since the first day that 65+ have been eligible to get the vaccine, it has been a real scramble!
Pauley, if my typing is bad, it is because we had too much fun in typing.  I have never been good at it!! Be careful in the snow!  Do you all even have snow boots?

It is so good to see your post, Sally! This has really been a year, hasn't it! Like you, I stay in....even have groceries delivered. I will get my 2nd vaccination on Sunday. Joe is still working, but I hope it won't be for much longer. Stay safe and warm.

Sally,
Great to see you post and to hear you are well. This has been quite a ride, but I am hoping we are really beginning to emerge. Would have been interesting to see you doing your majorette thing wearing a mask. 😁

Good Afternoon to you all!  I am so sorry to hear all of the news.  The only good news is that some of you are able to get vaccines.  But even with that, we must still be vigilant--but you all know that!  We are so shaken by last spring that we never go out of the apartment without a mask.  And the campus across the street requires a mask even when outdoors. In fact it is rare to see a person walking down the street without a mask.  We wear them all of the time.  You never know who you may run into!
I sure do miss Texas when I can't travel.  So all of you down there, enjoy your spring when it arrives--  which should be any day now.  Those out of state take any joy you can that comes your way!!

Traded-in one bug for another, eh Jim? [cool]

We're scheduled to receive our 1st round next month - on our anniversary!  We're planning to list ourselves somewhere else, in hopes of receiving a nicer gift! [mad]

On the other hand, "Shortcake" - Thank you very much for your very thoughtful Valentines Day card!  Please thank Bobby, too, although I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do with picking out that cute llama on the cover with hearts & flowers floating around it. [thumb]

I'll squeeze-in 1 b-day, then put the next item in a separate window ...

H a p p y  B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Bob Bradford, for Feb. 9th!

Bob - We hope you had a great one and all are healthy at your home.  If you're lurking out there, check-in sometime and say howdy.  Best wishes and stay safe!

Geneva and I had our first round of shots yesterday. Process went well. Sore arms today kind of like a Flu shot.

Jack that is great news!  Let's face it, some cities/counties are better organized, and then there's Dallas!!  What a fiasco last week.  Got my 1st shot Tue in Allen and Don got his last week at Fair Park.  It's great to know so many people are able to get it.

Glynda and I just returned from the Garland vaccine event. Our appointment was for 9-11. We arrived shortly after 9, sped right through the cop directed maze and waited about two minutes for the guy in front of us to get over the speed-bump. Got our shots, cards and directions. Went to the parking lot for the mandated 15 minute wait to see if we would react. We got the OK and were waved out. Quick, easy and almost painless. Friendly, well trained people did a great job. In 4 weeks we'll do it all again. YEA!! Thanks to the ex-president and the Governor.

For those of you addressing Valentine's cards, it dawned on me there are 5 people that I know moved and changed address after 2016.  Which means their address in Dir is wrong.  If you need their address and don't already have it, send me Em and I'll provide the list.
