Place: Richardson Comments: Loyd, how nice to hear from you! I see you on FB, but it's great when our group posts here too. We would all love to see you at our next Get-Together in the Spring. Thank yo for the compliment and glad to hear you've been browsing the photo files. Memories . . . right?
Place: Waxahachie Tx Comments: Just looking at photos posted. Thanks Sandy and Don for keeping this going!
Place: Richardson Comments: No, I haven't seen anything here or FB from Ada Ann. I'm sure they're keeping her very busy at the rehab facility she is in and probably very tired from all the work. But it would be so nice just to see a post from her, if only a few words.
Place: Powderly, TX Comments: Sandy, anymore to report on Ada Ann? Prayers continue…
Place: Richardson Comments: Good to hear from you. Let's pray this 2nd surgery works and I do hope you can go home soon and the pain will ease with each passing day.
Place: Dallas Comments: Still in the hospital. I have those pumper things on my legs, my arm is totally numb, I have an ice machine on my shoulder and back - but they brought me chocolate cake for dessert and it was great. Dr took a sample to be analyzed for infection etc since the rotator cuff surgery did not work. He has put me on an antibiotic just in case. Nurse said to be prepared - when the numbness wears off the pain will set in! So optimistic. Bobby and Linda just left to go eat and go home.
Place: Haslet, TX Comments: Prayers to those mentioned in need for healing and for Thursday’s procedure to be smooth and successful ❤️🩹 So thankful and grateful fo all our veterans that have and are serving our country 🇺🇸 Hugs and love in CHRIST to all my SOC family 🤗💜🤗
Place: Richardson Comments: Don - I watched the entire video yesterday. Nice Job!! Lots of good people who are no longer with us. but, great memories in photos and info make their memories live on. Thanks!!!
Place: LV, TX Comments: Greetings, All – I’m including the YouTube link for this year’s SOC '66 Vets slide-show: Updates include a new slide (incomplete info) for Chris Oefinger, discovered to be a Vietnam vet after his obit was posted on the GB recently. Also added are cross symbols alongside names of other deceased vets, Jim Martin, Larry Thomas, and J. D. Garoutte. May each of you enjoy a peaceful, reflective day of observance in recognition of all who served in the past, as well as those still serving. Saluting all. – Don
Place: Thankful in Richardson Comments: Monday, 11-11, is Veteran's Day. Thank you to all who have served and those currently serving our country. We grew up with the Vietnam War all thru our SOC years and beyond. I'm grateful for all who returned and heartbroken for those who didn't. May God Bless the USA and ease the tension and end the wars currently going on around the world so the US never has to get involved in another war. Thank you to all our SOC Veterans!!
Place: Garland Comments: Barbara and I are praying for Ada’s recovery and good health. Also Jeanne is in our prayers for her doctors to help her through this difficult time. Karen is also in our prayers for her successful surgery.
Place: Waller Comments: Hi! Thanks for the update on Ada Ann and also Karen. Ada Ann will have great care in Rehab. Karen’s upcoming surgery -we will add to our prayer list. Of course, Jeanne will be in our prayers. I’m thinking about putting up Christmas decor, but Randall doesn’t know yet. 😱….But I think he will be ok with it. We will see. Our ❤️ to all. Remember-God has got this! Nothing is Too big for Him! Janice
Place: ,McKinney Comments: You can add me to your prayer list Please. On Thursday I will have a reverse shoulder replacement. Still not sure exactly what it is even though I have read up about it and the Dr explained it. Since I just had rotator cuff surgery in February he does not think it will work again. He said something about being too old! After he got up off the floor!!! Jk. Anyway I will be in the hospital at least one night. My niece is taking me there and my sister will pick Bobby up after she gets through with her errandsand will come back on Friday to take me home.
Place: Hot Springs Village, Arkansas Comments: Prayers up for Jeanne and Ada
Place: Powderly, TX Comments: Not sure why my last name showed up incorrectly. |
