Comments: Rick - I learned from the best . . . Southworth! And with "spellcheck", anything is possible!!
Comments: I didn't know that SNL could spell Mensa or even knew what it was. We definitely have a high level of "something". FUN maybe
Comments: I didn't know they had slush's at El Fenix.
Comments: C'mon Jim, go along with the ruse. Let's pretend this GB produces a high level of stimulating conversation worthy of a Mensa award!!
Comments: Sandy, When did we switch to a "high level of integrity" ??
Comments: I think there is another verse, maybe two, that Dale left off. But for the sake of the GB, you know... to keep its high level of integrity... we better skip those verses.
Comments: Yes Dale, I still owe you a drink. Although some have expressed that the debt expired at the end of the mini, I will continue to owe you. While I'm not sure about the line John wrote about, I thought there were a couple of lines you left out of that diddy too. Sandy Mc, you knew that Dale was drinking a light green slushy at El Fenix, didn't you?
Comments: Dale, your ACU chant left out the line" "We ain't got no girlfriends!"
Comments: Von's cousin is an ol' Baylor graduate and practicing Baptist so, of course, there was no alcohol served at the wedding. Bea Ann (the cousin) married Lee Tunnell who was a major league pitcher for several years. He started and won a game in the world series when he was with Pittsburgh. He is a pitching coach with the Milwaukee Brewers now. They coulda afforded a little booze! Jack, Do you still owe me a drink from the contest or is it that "must be present to win" thing? Abilene chant: We don't smoke and we don't chew And we don't go with girls that do AC AC ACU !!!!!!
Comments: Reverend Smiley and a bar? Sandy Mc, what could you be thinking? He's a ACC boy. Dale, come over to the dark side.....
Comments: Happy Birthday to Dale and Don. Hope you have had a great day and still celebrating. Was is the "open bar" on the invitation that really persuaded you, Dale? No rain here, but it's cloudy and a wonderful change.
Comments: Happy Birthday Don and Dale - Hope ya'll have had a wonderful time! Jack - Sheila said to tell you hello and that she would see you on Sunday.....I'm sure that James would also but he is out running on the track and we are watching from the window!!!! ![]() I talked to JD a couple of days after the mini and he is doing pretty good. If you want to know about the conversation drop me a note. See ya
Comments: Marshall Jack - I rcvd (you may have also) a pretty good 'Leather Dress' joke from JD about a week ago. I followed-up with a 'how-ya-doin' e-mail & he replied that he was doing OK, but busy as hell at work. Aside from that, he's taking a look at pending updates to resume work on the vets' website. I told him I'm hoping to receive updated info on Ed Chesley's military ribbons soon, so we can update his display.
Comments: Dale, glad to see you've reemerged & the search dogs finally lead you home. I was actually worried about you!! Hope today is a good one! Jack - I think Gentleman Jack Daniel has affected your hearing! But if you don't tell Don. . . I'll still let you be my sweetie!
Comments: Oh, ua.... I'm sorry. It's just one of the lovely SOC ladies said to me at the mini that I was everyone's sweetie.... I thought that you were just following up on that thought.... Happy Birthday Don B!!! Anybody heard from JD?? |
