Place: LV, TX Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Rick Watts today, 1/27!
Place: Valentine addresses Comments: Good question Ada Ann. A few have moved but not many. If you have a question regarding addresses, send me an email and put the names. I'll verify if 50th Dir is correct but if not, I'll provide new address. I think Sammy & Sarah are the only ones that never gave me new address at the lake house. Also, I know Fay Pool and Karen Louton both moved in 2017. Let me know & I will gladly update addresses for anyone.
Place: NH Comments: How can we be sure that the addresses are the same as they were in the 50th reunion address book?
Place: Richardson Comments: Don't know if some of you read the post I made regarding sending Valentine's cards, so I'm re-posting it below. I've bought my cards and will be addressing them this week.
Place: Let's Do Something Fun!! Comments: Feb 14 is Valentine's Day! It's not just for lovers, it can be for friends you care about. Remember grade school when we decorated boxes and put cards in our friends shoe box! With all that's going on in our world today, what better time than Valentine's to send a card to someone you miss or care about??!! I'm not suggesting you go to Hallmark & buy those expensive ones ($4 to $7). Go to Dollar Tree. Their cards are all .50cents, the fancy ones are $1.00. Pick 6 or so friends you want to send warm wishes to and mail them. I hope many of you will do this, I am. I wish we could decorate shoe boxes and have a big party, but for now, the US Mail will have to do. Send a card, make someone smile!
Place: Edmond Comments: You are SO right.
Place: Richardson Comments: Good news Paul.
Place: Edmond Comments: We are immunization +24 hours and slightly sore arms seem the only effect. 48 hours is the point where some have experienced discomfort so we shall see.
Place: Richardson Comments: Glad to hear Paul that both you & Kathy were able to get the vaccine! Hopefully the chemo and the vaccine won't be fighting each other. With you having very little immune system at all, I'm really glad you got the vaccine. Also glad that Ada Ann was able to get the vaccine too. The only problem seems to be not enough vaccine getting out to all the places. We have more need than product availability.
Place: Edmond Comments: Kathy and I got our COVID vaccine (Moderna) and are scheduled for number 2 in Feb. Process went smoothly and so far all is well. Took a couple of Tylenol to stay ahead of any soreness and am exercising my arm. Will let you know how it goes. I had chemo on Tuesday so if I do well with both things going on you should all do well. 💉 😁
Place: Edmond Comments: “Stand by for news!”
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, you got me there Dale! I sure don't remember deleting it. My apologies to you & Paul Harvey.
Place: Groesvenor Texas Comments: Nope, If I remember correctly it was just a link to a very uplifting Paul Harvey story.
Place: Richardson Comments: Say Whaaattt??? Dale, You must have said something really bad!
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: That's not true, Sandy. You deleted my post about a year ago.
Place: Richardson Comments: Must be a scam or prank Karen. I haven't deleted any posts in about 8-10 yrs when we had a few ugly spam posts put here. Your previous post is alive and well. Glad to see some posters here, anytime.
