Comments: Hey, Jack! The last Table dance I went to , was with you, Mc Gee, Lincoln and Rick at Hooters I think. I remember you being VERY Flirtatious
Comments: SNL -- thanks for the advice.
Comments: KMD are you sure Aunt Bessie's is still open? I thought it closed a few years ago. Do they allow table dancing at Aunt Bessie's?? Toni, I don't know what could have happened. You think Bruce got to the mail first?? One of the few things Glynda and I disagree about is celebrating birthdays. She thinks they are big deals and should be celebrated. I think they are important until you are about 13 or if you stop having them. So there was no celebrating. Just some grilled steaks.
Comments: Congrats on another grandone, Sandy! You really will have your own baseball team soon! Happy Jack, happy belated birthday! Sorry I missed the celebration...guess my invitation got lost in the mail or something! ![]() Linda P, I know you will be glad when your daughter gets home. SNL, why does it not surprise me that your washer/dryer are Cowboy colors? ![]() Shortcake, your farm is in excellent hands, my friend!
Comments: KMD - BINGO & the back control panel is blue with silver stripping! They're gorgeous!
Comments: Happy Birthday JacK!! Congrats Grandpappy Amos ...McGee!
Comments: SNL, my guess for the color of your new washer is Dallas Cowboys Blue. Jack, I wouldn't be opening any packages (or sacks) from Don L. if I were you. Of course the ladies would love for you to join us for brunch. Be at Aunt Bessie's Tea Room on First Street in Weatherford at 10:30 a.m. and go ahead and order your brunch and let Aunt Bessie know your friends will be there any moment to pick up your tab. Don't worry. The wait can't be any longer than the wait for the delivery man to deliver BD presents to your door. Luv ya. ![]()
Comments: Thank you for all the kind words and well wishes. I'd like to keep this happening for many more years. Since my BD fell on Sunday this year and service companies don't deliver on Sunday, I am anticipating a front porch filled with packages when I get home. I'm hopping for a portrait from Dru, but it will probably be a sketch from John. While most of you didn't mention it in your well-wish, I know how giving this group is. The guys are probably planning a surprise get-together at a local establishment. I can let my imagination run wild with what the ladies will come up with. Maybe an invite to the brunch!!! But really, many thanks. Congrats, Grandpa McGee (how did the babysitting go??)
Comments: KMD - I thought abt you & Mike yesterday & I was sooo jealous!!! Just remember, if you should suddenly become ill & can't make it to one of the Cowboys games, I told Mike I'd be more than happy to stand in for you!
Comments: Good Grief, I don't turn my pc on for a day and a half & look what I missed . . . Hawkins B-day!! Jack ol' buddy, hope yesterday was a good one for you & may we live to have many more "planning sessions" together!! HAPPY B-DAY (yesterday) HAPPY JACK!! KMD - Yuvonne had some good advice. Buying a pc is kinda like buying a new washer . . . there's a lotta crap out there they try to sell you, but you don't need it. Write down what you really need & what applications you use most of the time. Buy with that in mind. I have a great story to tell you abt my experience shopping for a new washer & dryer. (we'll talk abt it Sat) My last one was a little over 14 yrs old & the washer sounded like an 18 wheeler stripping it's gears when it changed cycles. I'm proud to say as of Sat mrng I have a new Kenmore washer & dryer & you'll never guess what color it is!!! Linda - congrats on Ryan abt to be heading home, I'm sure it can't be too soon for you! Oh, Linda . . . guys never read instructions!!! YOU hve to read them & when they say,"where do you think this part goes?" you lamely say, "I dunno, maybe here." Never refer to the fact that you read the instructions.
Comments: Happy Birthday, Jack, hope this will be your best year ever. Old McGee had a team, Ee i ee i oh And on that team he had "4" grandsons, Ee i ee i oh, With a baseball here, And a football there, here a ball, there a ball Everywhere a ball, Ee I ee I oh..... I could go on....that just popped in my head congratulations to your family!
Comments: Happy Birthday Cap'n Jack. Maybe you can take the cane pole down to the "crick" and catch a mess of brim for Glynda to fry up for you on your special day. ![]() Thanks for the good advice, Yvonne. It will help in our decision making. Linda P., I'm glad that Ryan will be back in the USA very soon. Mike and I had a ball "oohing" and "ahhing" at the new Cowboys Stadium yesterday. They held an open house for season ticket holders to come out and preview and find our seats and parking lots prior to the first pre-season game. They offered food and drinks at half price so fans could try them out. Be prepared for menu prices such as Green Chile Kobe Burger for $13. You can also get Cowboy Cheesesteaks for $10 and Angus Burgers for $8.50. Beer is $8 and soft drinks are $6. Soft pretzels are $5.50 and chips are $3. We may be having a "Happy Meal" and a jug of Vin Rose in the parking lot before the games instead.
Comments: Karen, I suggest you go into the apple store & check out the iMac before you decide. Then list out your needs for computer use, because there are still several things that are not mac os x supported. We use both platforms: Vista & Mac. I love my mac but need the H P Vista pc on many occasions because mac isn't supported. If you are doing a lot of photo editing mac is super! For document use- either. Techs will tell you that the Dell is what keeps them in bs. I suggest 4 ram which ever platform. We have not had a problem with Vista- think it is very good. You can run firefox or Safari instead of I. E. They are safer, anyway. Happy computing! Happy Birthday to you Jack! And- Congrats grandpa Sandy!
Comments: Happy Birthday, Jack. Hope that you have a great day! Hill Country Guy -- Thank you for that confirmation. My daughter, Ryan, is leaving Madrid 1st thing tomorrow morning to fly home. I'll be so happy to have her back.
Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU JACK AND MANY, MANY MORE !!! Best wishes.....Enjoy your day !!!! ![]() |
