Comments: Many of you have told me you prefer the Omni over the Double Tree, so I've bn trying to t/w them to see if Hunter's Bar is available. 3rd call & I t/w mgr over bar. Yes, no bookings that day & he will be happy to have our grp. Will reserve half the bar just for us. Remember: We'll be at the Omni this time & not the DB!!
Comments: We survived Las Vegas and Bruce's 49th HS Reunion! Boy, oh boy, what heat! Happy belated birthday to Mario and happy anniversary wishes to Jack and Donna Riley Pratley! SNL, if the hotel can't let us have our soiree then, I bet we can book Firewheel...and you and Don could just walk to the mini....lol!! Come to think of it, so could Bruce and I! 
Comments: How great to hear from more of you!!  Looks like 10-3 will be good. Now, if I cd just get a hotel to call me back so we'll have a place to meet!  Seriously, it takes btwn 2 -4 calls to get anyone who will confirm anything! But don't worry, if we can't get a hotel . . . we'll all meet at Shortcake's big mansion on wheels & have a great time!!  P.S. Jack, you're always just full of ideas. 
Comments: OH Linda, how unPC!!! There are no loser golfers, just some of us who want to get our FULL money and exercise worth by getting in as many strokes as the course and our playing partners will allow! (that is unless you have to ride with Sandy Joe)
Comments: 10/3/09 sounds good to me, SNL. Anytime is a good time to party with SOCites. Any gals who don't golf but want to help could come out and set up kissing and hugging booths along the golf course. They could charge for consoling and invigorating golfers with the money going to the BMF fund. Might also consider a massage table at the mini to sooth the aching egos and muscles of some golfers. Comments: Congratulations on the anniversaries Yvonne and Dale and Donna & Jack. Hope your special day was/is filled with lots of love, laughter, and hugs. SNL - Oct. 3 is good for me. I have noticed that since I'm only working 3 days a week, my babysitting duties have "stepped-up." I kept 2 sets of the grandkids last week. One thing I noticed is how MUCH a 12 yr. old boy and a 14 yr. old girl can eat. Never having a boy, I just sit in wonder at how much they can "pack away" the food and milk. It's impressive. To the loser golfers, please don't whine at the mini. It'll be embarrassing.

TNX for the FYI abt the losers being depressed . . . we'll give them extra attention!  So what about the rest of you reading the GB, are you not interested in attending, or just gng to make it a surprise if you show up?  Look back abt 11 posts (will be on 2nd pg) & see the note abt having another Get-Together on Oct 3.

Comments: Ms. SNL, some of the golfers might not show up on Saturday. They tend to be in a foul mood after I take their ice cream money on the golf course. If you see any of them standing in the corner, slowly shaking their head, stop by and give them a hug.

Comments: Sandy, I'm not worried too much about the bow and arrows. It's a compound with a 68 lb pull. Yuvonne is more of a 9mm kinda gal anyway. Right now she is buying her hunting license and shells for her 20 gauge. She also carries a two shot Derringer in her purse. I be good. Don, I remember you toting the football. |
