Comments: Congratulations on the anniversaries Yvonne and Dale and Donna & Jack. Hope your special day was/is filled with lots of love, laughter, and hugs. SNL - Oct. 3 is good for me. I have noticed that since I'm only working 3 days a week, my babysitting duties have "stepped-up." I kept 2 sets of the grandkids last week. One thing I noticed is how MUCH a 12 yr. old boy and a 14 yr. old girl can eat. Never having a boy, I just sit in wonder at how much they can "pack away" the food and milk. It's impressive. To the loser golfers, please don't whine at the mini. It'll be embarrassing.
Comments: 10/3 works for me !
Comments: Thanks to Dale, Susan, Rick, Kathy, Don L & McGee for commenting on whether or not they can make the Oct-3 mini!! TNX for the FYI abt the losers being depressed . . . we'll give them extra attention! So what about the rest of you reading the GB, are you not interested in attending, or just gng to make it a surprise if you show up? ![]() Look back abt 11 posts (will be on 2nd pg) & see the note abt having another Get-Together on Oct 3.
Comments: A mini on 10/3 sounds fine for now - I'll try my best!
Comments: H a p p y 42nd A n n i v e r s a r y !!! to Donna Riley & Jack Pratley, married on 9/2/67, at Cedar Canyon Baptist Church, Duncanville, TX. Major congrats, you 2 love bird ranchers - best wishes & may you celebrate many happy returns. Please come & see us at the next mini!
Comments: Ms. SNL, some of the golfers might not show up on Saturday. They tend to be in a foul mood after I take their ice cream money on the golf course. If you see any of them standing in the corner, slowly shaking their head, stop by and give them a hug.
Comments: I'm in town.
Comments: SNL-- 10/03 -- I can't wait
Comments: Sandy, 10/3 is good for me
Comments: Sandy, I'm not worried too much about the bow and arrows. It's a compound with a 68 lb pull. Yuvonne is more of a 9mm kinda gal anyway. Right now she is buying her hunting license and shells for her 20 gauge. She also carries a two shot Derringer in her purse. I be good. Don, I remember you toting the football.
Comments: It has been a while since I last posted. However, I check in on the GB regularly. Congrats to all the anniversaries celebrants that I have missed and Happy Birthday for those that I missed. Also, I regularly include those in need of prayer It is always interesting on the GB and I do enjoy being able to keep up with those who are posters. I don't know if I have previously mentioned it, but my older daughter is expecting a baby in October. So Joyce and I will have our third grandone this year.
Comments: Dale, do you sleep easy at night knowing Yuvonne has access to not only guns . . . but bow & arrows in the house???
Comments: Archery season starts Oct 3rd, but right now Yuvonne and I plan to be in Dallas for the golf tourney.
Comments: Good morning all. Isn't the weather in the DFW area fantastic!! Aug has seemed more like Sept & everything is so green, usually it's burned to a crisp by late Aug. Hey, I was trying to plan our Fall Get-Together & had a suggestion from the peanut gallery. What do ya'll think about Oct 3rd? As most of you golfers know, the BMF Project Charity Golf Tournament will be held here on Fri, Oct 2. Since some of the guys will be in town for the golf, why not have the party the next day as they will most likely stay over any way. I know I can't please everyone, but will Sat, 10-3 work for most everyone?? Please comment as time is short! ![]() I've been told by the hunters in our grp they won't attend if it's the 1st or 2 wkends in Nov as that's the beginning of deer hunting season. Poor Bambi!! ![]()
Comments: To all of my friends at SOC, Thanks for the B-day wishes. Sammy, Sammy, and Rusty, I hope you had a great day. Thanks again for all the prayers and support this last year. To all of our friends in the guest book and other class mates who have special needs my prayers are with you...they do work. Happy birthday Mario, and to all I missed. |
