Comments: Guys, Sorry I'm going to miss the reunion on the 3rd. I will be in Memphis at graceland.Elvis called and wants me to play at a party with him Sonny and Red. But I am planning to go to the class of 64 reunion with my brother Robert. Maybe I'll see some of you there.
Comments: Richard, I spoke with my nephew that lives in your area and he said the same thing. He and his wife work in Huntington Beach. Scared him to death when I called, he thought something was wrong or somebody had passed. Guess I ought to call more often. Did Ellyce King ever post again ?? Surely we didn't scare her off that quick.
Comments: Richard, dropping my name at the Double Tree would probably get you a warm greeting & free drink, but it's been 3 yrs since we were at the Omni. However, after Oct 3 . . . I'm sure their memory of me & the gang at our 40th will return & it might just get you thrown out!

Comments: Many of you have told me you prefer the Omni over the Double Tree, so I've bn trying to t/w them to see if Hunter's Bar is available. 3rd call & I t/w mgr over bar. Yes, no bookings that day & he will be happy to have our grp. Will reserve half the bar just for us. Remember: We'll be at the Omni this time & not the DB!!
Comments: We survived Las Vegas and Bruce's 49th HS Reunion! Boy, oh boy, what heat! Happy belated birthday to Mario and happy anniversary wishes to Jack and Donna Riley Pratley! SNL, if the hotel can't let us have our soiree then, I bet we can book Firewheel...and you and Don could just walk to the mini....lol!! Come to think of it, so could Bruce and I!

Seriously, it takes btwn 2 -4 calls to get anyone who will confirm anything! But don't worry, if we can't get a hotel . . . we'll all meet at Shortcake's big mansion on wheels & have a great time!!  P.S. Jack, you're always just full of ideas. 
Comments: OH Linda, how unPC!!! There are no loser golfers, just some of us who want to get our FULL money and exercise worth by getting in as many strokes as the course and our playing partners will allow! (that is unless you have to ride with Sandy Joe)
Comments: 10/3/09 sounds good to me, SNL. Anytime is a good time to party with SOCites. Any gals who don't golf but want to help could come out and set up kissing and hugging booths along the golf course. They could charge for consoling and invigorating golfers with the money going to the BMF fund. Might also consider a massage table at the mini to sooth the aching egos and muscles of some golfers.
