Comments: Toni - I've never been one to shy away frm a dance floor whether it was crowded or I was the only one on it. But can you imagine being on that floor with all those hot spot lights, wearing not much more than sequins & having the 3 critical judges scrunitize your every move!!
Comments: awww, not you SNL, you'd never do that!!
Comments: Rod - You know how the song goes . . . "She thinks my tractors sexy". Maybe she thought your Ford was sexy! Richard - I give kudos to anyone who gets up there & is able to at least make an effort to do the rehershed steps! I'm afraid if I had to stand on that dance floor with all those people surrounding me, 3 judges watching every move I made and knowing millions of people were watching o TV . . . I think I would freeze up & not be able to move, much less remember all the steps.
Comments: Its been raining here for the last 3-weeks off and on, the ground is so wet that you sink in when walking on it. 4-Wheelers are the only transportation in the pasture without getting stuck. Lucky we have a lot of room for runoff. If the good Lord willing & the Creek well you know I plan to be there. Hope to see all.
Comments: Thanks for the anniversary wishes, Linda and I greatly appreciate them. I am still trying to figure out why she has stayed all these year, I have given her so many reasons for not to. I figure 39 years isn't too bad considering I asked her to marry me on the third coffee date we had, which was on the third day we had really known each other, and were married 6 months later. She did turn me down the first time I asked but relented about 30 minutes later. Sure wish I could remember what I did in those 30 minutes ! I did wait to ask her out until I bought a new Ford truck and her family drove Fords, maybe it's for my truck.
Comments: Susan, are you referring to Edwards?.....(kidding). You may have a point there...why not.
Comments: Aw, come on Richard! Let the guy have a little fun! At least we're not watching the Dancing Queen out there!
Comments: Jack, you want to know what's wrong with the Republican Party? watch this one, though you've probably already seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epZlsCTNegw What was Tom thinking? We need to cleanup this image. The good news is that slimey John Edwards is taking top billing this week in the scandal category and deflecting a lot of the coverage.
Comments: Ok, that's workin' pretty good. But who's the 4th player
Comments: SNL try using the California Dreamin tune.
Comments: Jack - poetry it ain't, but who's the person who stepped up???
Comments: Kath can't make it, Gotta work, can't break it Don't know what else to say Up steps a hero Said she's good to go She'll lead the way Bruce, Toni and Jack will get to play We'll win the tourny, take all the money And leave the boys dearming of another day
Comments: Don, am glad to hear things are turning out alright. Owe you a long overdue phone call. Just so we can share...Kathy and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary Sunday with a very calm dinner for 9. We had a great time and in fact...we have decided never to purchase an Anniversary card again...it is the third time that we have purchased the same card...and we laughed till we cried. We have decided that a verbal Happy Anniversary is enough... Hope all is well, but obviously not Mr. Butterfingers as his stories and antics on the golf curse become more and more strange as he gets older...am just happy that we are all getting older. Happy Birthday and Anniversary if I missed anyone. Till next time...
Comments: Apparently Mother Nature pays attention to the calendar, right on queue for the first day of Fall she drops the temp & lets loose a cool N. wind! At 65 degrees here in E. Richardson . . . it's down right chilly!!!
