Comments: How excitilng KMD!! What a beautiful day for being outdoors . . . enjoy! My two big flags are hung, one on the flagpole & other in the window. Yes indeed . . . GO COWBOYS!!!
Comments: SNL, I just read about Gordy and thought OMG! Thank goodness he was able to call 911 before it was too late and get help. I will keep him in prayer to heal completely and be back to his old self real soon. Mike and I are loading the car to go tailgate at Cowboys Stadium before the game tionight. Yes, Mike like's to get a good parking place close to the exit (he's got it down to a science, believe me). Go Cowboys!
Comments: The arteries in his legs were clogged! He had one leg done abt 4 or 5 wks ago & it went well without any problems. But when they went to do the other leg there were complications. Luckily he called 911 & got to the hospital in time.
Comments: SNL, what was wrong with Gordy's leg?
Comments: I t/w Gordy Johnson early this mrng & he's bk in hospital. He had surgery on his leg Thur & went home Fri. Sat mrng when he got up the suture apparently didn't hold & main artery broke open. He nearly bleed-out but paramedics got him to Medical City & his Dr had to do another surgery to repair damage. He will remain in Medical City until at least Wed. Get well & feel better soon Gordy!!
Comments: No need to push my luck chasing down that little white ball, only to hit it into the brush & get pi$$ed again for losing it. Just never appealed to me, but you 'Da Bears' guys go right ahead & I'll meet you for a cold one-or-two afterward.
Comments: Sandy Mc, your thinking of the golfers on this GB, not the game. It's also a little weird they refer to it as a "stroke", which is pretty much where most of us are headed anyway, so we may as well take up the game.
Comments: How come in golf it's still called handicap? Shouldn't it be physical or mentally challenged?
Comments: Buddy -- you just keep on using that imagination. The best part is you guys are still able to walk/ride a golf course and tell all the lies that you do. Do you tell new ones or just keep repeating all the old stories? Like all good wines, you just get better with age. Or so I hear.
Comments: Linda P- In regards to your comment "get real" on the Stallions of 67, I will try to answer on my best behavior. The last Vegas odds line was 5 to 4 in favor of the Stallions Studs not the duds. Reality is when the bullets (golf balls) stop flying there is not a 66 and 67 fox hole but a bunch old forts enjoying life together at it's fullest. Sharing Whoppers lies of the day is the real prize and Butterfingers in this arena soars with talent. A note worthy or very worthy about Doug Hutt to all. Doug may have to get the true facts down but I think he was an honor guard at the White House for the Air Force and proudly displayed many pictures of that time. I do remember some pictures with him and President Nixon.
Comments: Hey Ralph...why are you always sending Alice on vacation...and why the moon?
Comments: Ralph, my mother is coming to visit . . .!
Comments: SNL I got it -- To the Moon---
Comments: Happy Belated Birthday to Roger P. Come see us at the mini on Oct. 3rd. I will be praying for the best for our fellow SOCites, Doug Hutt and Barney Kemp. The class of '66 is thinking about you guys.
Comments: Yes Linda, It is sunny & beautiful today! |
