Comments: Turn on your radios and TVs. There has been a massacre at Fort Hood this afternoon.
Comments: Yichkkkkk! The View! Can't stand that show. Those yakkkers tongues are sharper than hedge clippers. And this is coming from a Chicken!
Comments: Happy Jack -- NO! Well, maybe. Just watch Michael Irvin on The View do the samba and boy can he swivel those hips. He was such a gracious contestent on Dancing with the Stars. They hosts of The View pointed out that Michael was one of the best wide receivers of all time and had 3 super bowl rings. Also, if anyone likes the tango, listen to the song Sin Rumbo on iTunes; it's great. I put it on my iPod. What another beautiful day in the metroplex; I'm lovin it and that it's no wet, wet, wet.
Comments: Now Sandy Mc, I expected that from SNL, but you too? Et Ta Mc?
Comments: Yes, Jack, I have gotten behind with posting on the GB. Yes I did go out on the links today with hubby Mike. Wednesdays are the only days that we have off together since I transferred over to the East division of Grand Homes recently. I'm working in Murphy now, only 5 miles from home which I really like. Toni and Bruce, neither Mike nor I have weekends off, but if you and Bruce ever get time off on a Wednesday, we would love to join you guys on the links. Ronney, Happy Belated Birthday and I hope you enjoyed it to the hilt. I will try to be better about posting on the GB but I have been learning a new computer system (we finally got the new iMac) and this old dog has difficulty learning new tricks.
Maybe some of you can relate???
Comments: NO
Comments: I've been wondering the same thing, SNL. Buddy was making golf dates the whole time it was raining. Now the sun's out I guess he went fishing. Butterfingers must be trying to make up for the lost days when it rained and be playing in the mud. No telling what Bovie's up to, except playing tennis. Coasty Don has turned into the midnight stalker/poster. JD's disappeared completely. The left coast stirrer has quieted down, must have gotten some work to do. Sammy and Jerry still pop-in once in a while. The Sandy and Linda still post when they got 2 cents to add. Shortcake must be traveling in the mobile castle. Tallcake is missing, maybe spending all her spare time at the driving range. I'm guessing it hurts Toni to type. Ronney's birthday is over and he's getting back in the swing of things. Where's everybody else and why are they being quiet? Must be waiting for me to sing something. Any requests??
Comments: Oh My . . . not a post one on the GB. Everyone must be on the Links, Fishin' or just enjoying the great weather!! At lunch I wanted to run out & buy a vine of beautiful fall colored leaves to use as part of my table decorations for Thanksgiving. Rats!!! Went to 3 stores & all they had was Christmas stuff!! Finally at 3rd store, in the back, was a rack of Fall decorations. Good news is it was marked 60% off! I got my vine of leaves!
Comments: Ronney, I hope you have had a wonderful birthday. Glad you are feeling better. I feel like he energizer bunny today! Must be the weather ![]()
Comments: Dear Ronney, Hope the day is cheering you up! I hope the evening is fun and that the year ahead is a good one--and that upgrade will make you the envy of the class! Happy Birthday
Comments: Dang it Jack . . . and I was so hopeful!!!!!
Comments: Sorry Kiddo, your version is outdated, not upgradable and no longer supported. New memory is too fast for your system. Only backup available is on a server (might require a Dagley system). Case seems well taken care of (a few minor dings), but internal systems would require major overhaul with replacement to rejuvenate to former glory and no guarantees there either. Options others have tried include a new (younger)operator. Sleek, shiny and fast (as in Lamborghini) transportation system. Adjustments to the outer cover and learning a younger language. Theses mostly fail and only cause humor in other similar systems who choose to continue with original systems. Best suggestion is to continue to make the best of the current system and enjoy the advantages of experience.
Comments: B-day Boy, when your son finishes with your PC, could he come over here and do the same to ME!
Comments: Dear Annette: Cluuuuuuck! Cluck-cluck-cluck! Cluuuuuuk! Poc-poc-poc-pocaaaaaahhhh! (Chicken talk translation: How you doin', girl)
Comments: Wife and daughter taking me out to eat at Siciliano's (one of my favorite Italian restaurants) for my birthday, tonight. Some friends meeting us there. My son called and said he will come back home in a few weeks. He said his plan for my B'day is to put more memory into my laptop, backup my data on his new external hard drive, install the new version of Windows, and re-install my software. I have a wonderful laptop (Sony Vaio), but it has been rather slow lately. My son said it should run faster after he works on it. Having someone with a computer science degree in the family is WONDERFUL. |
