Comments: Ronney, my heart goes out to you on the loss of your aunt. Like SNL said, it's really hard to say goodbye even though you know she's in a better place. Let us know about the arrangements as soon as they're finalized. Much love to you and your family.
Comments: Ronney -- I'll be praying for you and your family. You are lucky you had your aunt for such a long time and she was such a presence in your life. JD -- Congratulations on the upcoming birth of another grandson and the wedding of your daughter. What alot of wonderful events to look forward to. Ada Ann -- has it snowed at your house yet?
Comments: Ronney my thoughts & prayers are with you. I know how hard it is to let go of someone you love, especially when they have Alzheimer's. I watched my Dad slowly slip away for 15 yrs. I think at the end, we were both tired & worn out. Tell God how you feel about your aunt & ask Him to pass it on to her. You know He will.

Comments: We took my Aunt Mildred Atkinson off life support this evening. She lasted about an hour and a half before passing away peacefully. We will work on the funeral plans tomorrow. Looks like we will most likely have a family graveside service. We are then wanting to have a Celebration of Life memorial service at Grace Presbyterian Village, where she has been living. Don't know just what day this will be on. We are sad that she has passed. However, it is a blessing. She was 89 and had Alezheimers. This has stopped her from having to suffer the later stages of the disease. But, I will certainly miss her. Thanks to all who have e-mailed and written condolences on the GB. I appreciate it very much.

Comments: Ada Ann...you have come a long way from the park and pool down the street from J.N. Bryan where we first met. Happy BD and congrats on your treatment and the fact that you are in our hearts and minds. I love you like no other...please say hello to your Mom...will call soon just to hear your beautiful voice. One additional positive note...our Brian and his beautiful bride Beth are due to bring another little Garoutte into the world. We found out today that the name will, in all probability, be Ryan Joseph Garoutte...due here in March of 2010. His "older" brother Jacob doesn't clearly understand...but we will all work on the transition...JJ's going to love a little brother. Everyone is doing fine...baby looks great on the disc...will see him on Friday when I get home. His middle name belongs to Brian & Jena's grandfather. Only wish he had lived long enough to see his namesake. Jena's wedding is progressing on schedule for February 27th.

Comments: I just finally got caught up on the GB so .......for everyone whose bd I have missed - I hope that you have had a very Happy Birthday...for everyone else I am sorry for what ever happened that I missed. Things have been hectic and a lot going on....I will try to do better.
