Comments: Buddy, get your facts straight! Richard, beautiful wedding. I know you are proud.
Comments: correction I 75 and 635 (high five) and not I 75 and 820 and the 120 and 114 hwy will be more than 3 times the cost BTW I love weddings with FREE open bars RN
Comments: JD, the Beatle looking young fella about 8-9 yo, is the groom's nephew. The flower girl is my GD, Avery, and there's a couple of pics with her brother Hunter (blond hair 2 yo). The location is San Clemente. The house was built by one of the two partners who developed San Clemente in the 1920's (his name is Ole Hanson). His partner built a house and called it Casa Pacifica which was later bought by Richard Nixon (western White House). Since you brought up cost; what ever happened to the free church wedding, punch and cake? How did all this "father of the bride" thing get started? I don't know how these 4-5 daughter families get through it all.
Comments: Head line news on the local news tonite: News is out on the 114 and 120 hwy's, just northwest of DFW Airport, TXDOT project at the cost of 1 BILLION (with a B) dollars for the heaviest bottle neck in the state, to start 2/15/10. To put this in perspective I 75 and 820 was a 300 mil project. Inside info from Gene Capps Civil Engineer (my boy) stimulus fed money is almost 400 mil the rest resting with the state on the final bill. For Doc and the rest of us in this area make plans,,,,, L-O-N-G term plans.
Comments: Richard...I must advise you that your daughter is as beautiful as MaryAnn...and having given my Jeniffer away once before...(her husband passed in the first 13 months of the marriage) I know how you must have felt. This time around is no where near the size and or expense as the first...in fact...the first wedding was so scary that Kathy stopped sharing the cost and to this day she still says you don't want to and or need to know... But this was beautiful and I stayed through the entire presentation. However, I would like to know who the young man was with the great head of hair...is that a grandson? I only ask because I've seen that hair before...just a little lighter and a different cut this time around. Thanks for sharing.
Comments: Richard, that photographer was a whiz (even with the foot thing). He must be well experienced with PhotoShop too. He did so good on you, that if you weren't bald I would not have recognized you when you were with the other guys. Looks like a great party. Thanks for inviting all of us old friends to help you celebrate.
Comments: Richard, loved the beautiful wedding photos. Thanks for sharing. She is really is her mother's daughter, absolutely beautiful. Where was the wedding held?
Comments: Thanks for the comments. Annette, that thought occurred to me....we have both spent too much time on this coast.
Comments: Dearest friend and partner in crime Toni, Wow what a wonderful, darling, splendiferous Christmas gift! All the best to you and your family, and good health and Godspeed to you. Richard, your buttons must be popping with pride. Such a lovely family. Gee I wonder where they got all those great genes? BTW, your photographer seems to have a little "foot fetish."
Comments: Richard - your dtr is the spitting image of Mary Ann! What a handsome groom! They look beautiful together & the seaside wedding looked fabulous! Great photographer. You & Mary Ann look spiffy.
Comments: Richard -- I looked at your daughter's wedding pics and what a beautiful bride and handsome groom. You and MaryAnn looked pretty good, too. The photographer took some really great pics.
Comments: JD, I know you have a wedding coming up in Feb, I believe. We just married off our second daughter on Thanksgiving weekend. Here are some ideas for you from a proud papa. (the downside is, if your father of the bride, it's your tab...but, worht it). http://www.photobiz.com/slideshowbiz/slideshow.cfm?slideshowID=108050&photographerID=1045 (you won't want to sit through all of it).
Comments: Jack, you received a reprieve...we only got a few inches and it was more water than snow. But Kathy said that you probably needed the snow blower more than we did...as a yard ornament...so she made me go and buy a new one. She felt the snow blower was cheaper than a very expensive last minute airline ticket. So please be nice to her...as we have done a lot of blowing over the last 24 years...snow blowing that is... A Merry Christmas to all.
Comments: Toni, Hudson is just precious. What a Christmas blessing! Still praying for him and his momma. Love you |
