I can't wait to compare pictures of our grandsons in about three or four years! Sue, sorry about that but I did get something in the mail about my memorial tribute which indicated Mike's mom was at the location on Forest Ln. Again, I'm sorry about that! Comments: Ada Ann - Dane won his battle! Was pronounced Cancer Free late last yr!! He is doing well & looks great! As far as I know, Carol still doesn't have a home pc. She only posts when at work & hasn't done that in 6 months or more! Heard from Glenn Chandler. He sent an update form & said he has a home in Costa Rica & that's where he lives. His son lives in Glenn's Arlington home & he gave me the address for mailings. He only comes back here about 6 wks a yr. He did give me his em add.

JD....congrats on the new grandone....may he continue to grow healthy. Barbara....your little guy is adorable....growing up to be a big boy. Thanks for all of the help with assisted living....don't know what they are going to do with Joe's Mom....she is being a real PIA. Has anyone heard from Carol Carpenter? What about Dane and his battle?
Comments: Wow, lots gng on since I turned my pc off at 6:00pm last night! Don L - Your bro Doug will continue to be in my prayersand you will bee too! This sounds like a way to get rid of that cancer once and for all. Will pray for a quick apptmt & a good match. Please keep us posted as we'll be here rooting for him! Rickypoo - HAPPY B-DAY You old streaker you! but I think Don is right... it's a little too chilly for any streaking tonight! Barbara Duncan - Alec is so cute in that blue jacket, it makes his eyes even bluer. He's a real cutie.
Comments: Don what wonderful news. My daughter had her bone marrow transplant 20 years ago and she is thriving. Tell your brother that he is in our prayers as is the rest of your family. If he needs anyone to to be tested for a match all my family is here for him. Take care.
Comments: I also rcvd this very encouraging e-mail from my brother today: "Friends and family: I just received word from the VA in Temple that I have been approved for the bone marrow transplant. The VA hospital in San Antonio is supposed to contact me shortly to set up the appointment. I will let everyone know the exact date as soon as it becomes available. Thank you for your prayers! - Doug" It will basically require him to be in total isolation for about 3 mos., during which time his total immune system will be 'zeroed out'. Then, they'll begin removing infected cells & freezing them, which kills the cancer, leaving now-healthy cells & reinserting them - over & over. He'll have to be re-immunized for all childhood vaccinations & shots afterward. But, it's reportedly his best chance for recovery - and, of course, better than the alternative. My sincere thanks, as well, for all your prayers & please continue while he enters this new phase of treatment.
Comments: JD - That's terrific news about little Ryan & daughter, Beth! So glad to hear they're both doing fine, in spite of the many tense moments leading up to his birth. If he's been a real pain in the ass, as you've described, I'm sure we're all wondering who he might've gotten that early trait from.  Maybe we should continue praying for Beth til he turns 18 & joins the Navy, eh? Major congrats to all!

Try not to streak the place this year, in case it’s a good restaurant that you’d like to return. Besides, the brisk wind & low temps could affect you like a ‘cold shower’.
