Comments: Happy Anniversary Sandy and Don. I know Don treated you right. Because Mike was still sick, he recruited his daughter to go get a card and 2 dozen roses for me. Dinner out will have to wait until he's better. I thought his daughter was so sweet to do that for him (and me). Happy Valentine's Day to all the beautiful SOC women and handsome SOC men out there. Hope all had a great day. JD, it's great to hear how well your grandson is doing. And congratulations again on your daughter's upcoming wedding. Can your head swell any more?

Comments: BTW - It was cold & drizzly down here for most of the week - had a slight touch of sleet, but we didn't get a single snow flake from up north. One of our VA staffers e-mailed photos from outside his townhouse in northern Virginia, where they had about 3 ft. The tops of iron fence posts were visible, but not the fencing. He teleworked from home all week.
Comments: H a p p y 25th A n n i v e r s a r y !!! to Sandy Norman Lynn & Don Broughton, who ‘tied the knot’ on this date in 1985 at Wynn Chapel of Highland Park Church, Dallas, TX. Sandy & Don - Hope you two have a wonderful Silver anniversary celebration - snowed in or otherwise - and best wishes for many more!

Comments: Well, Ryan Joseph is growing each and every day. He now weighs 3 lb 8 oz and is taking a partial bottle and partial breast feeding. Can't complete either due to his getting so tired sucking...but they finish each feeding with a tube. Has been moved out of the NICU and surprising so many as he grows and gets stronger. We still have several weeks left at the hospital but Brian is getting his room ready for when he comes home...and GP and NANA are making a very big sign so everyone will know. Our daughter Jena went to visit for the 1st time last Sunday, got to hold him and just cried. Jena told me last week that this is her year, she sold her house in 5 days, is getting married the 27th of February, and said we should expect another grandone this year...if all works out. All I could say is that I know life has not always treated her fair...but it has a way of rewarding those who keep trying...this is her reward. Kathy & I are fine...am trying to find a way to retire...plans are in the works...just simply tired of the travel and corporate politics. Hope to get a part time job teaching sales and marketing at the University or Carthage College in Kenosha. Then promised Kathy I would take care of all household chores and have dinner ready when she gets home from work. Because of her pension she has to work to 65 or lose 30% or more. So Happy Valentines Day to all...and hope all the ladies and wives received nice cards, flowers and maybe even dinner out to their favorite eatery...
