Comments: Sandy, so great to hear that Dane is improving, and we all pray for his health and recovery. Many Happy Birthday wishes to my beautiful and beloved friend from "way back in the day" Rosemary. Hope everyone is having beautiful weather. It's gorgeous today in H-Town!
Comments: s/w Janet H few minutes ago regarding her bro n law, Dane T. He was moved from ICU to a room on Fri. Janet sd as of right now, they are hopeful but guarded! He is not out of the woods yet! Still heavily congested & on antibiotics. He is breathing mostly on his own with assistance from oxygen. He can now have visitors, but please keep in mind . . . he can't talk yet due to the tracheotomy. Janet sd his spirits are down & if any of you, especially the guys, could stop by for a few minutes to cheer him up it wd be great!! Please continue to pray for Dane & his wife, Debbie. She is exhausted, as Dane has bn in the hospital since 1-29! Comments: Hi, Bradford: Sorry I have not responded to the post you made on the BG a few days ago. I am doing pretty good. Been quite sick lately with the cold-type crud that has been going around. Just when I think the coughing, sneezing, and June Allyson-type voice is going away, it comes back with a vengence. Been sleeping in the guest room so Connie won't catch this crap. Katie is doing fine. She really works hard at the mental health/mental retardation facility she works at. She is in Dickinson, TX, visiting her boyfriend, Brandon Fulcher, and his family this weekend. Now, Bobby, you have let me down over and over by not coming to a get-together. I hope you can make the next one. For that matter, I hope I can, too.

Comments: T/W Ron Hill (from Zumwalt) last night regarding Dane. One of Ron's' friends had just been to see Dane. He was moved from ICU to a room but is still only very slowly improving and is still in need of our thoughts and prayers. The friend said Dane had had a tracheotomy and was sedated and resting during the visit. I hope we continue to get good reports.

Comments: A blonde decides to go ice fishing so she gets all of her equipment together and goes out to the ice. She starts to crank up the ol' ice auger and a loud voice from above says "There are no fish there" She moves to another part of the ice and starts again to drill a hole and a voice from above says " There are no fish there." The third time this happens she looks up and says "Is that you, God?" The voice says "No, I'm the guy that runs this ice rink."

Comments: Two Yankees are out ice fishing and not catching a thing. A man drives by on a snowmobile with a big stringer full of fish. One Yankee turns to the other and says " That's why we aren't catching anything....we should be trolling"
Comments: Fri was a very busy day at work & nevr got a chance to get on the GB. Man, that conversation about the Ice Holes was funny, not sure I even understood all of it, but it was hilarious any way!!  Happy B-day RoseMary!!! Hope yesterday was a great day for you & look forward to seeing you on June 5th for the next Get-Together!  Can you believe... the weathermen are forecasting SNOW again on Tue!!! I'm sure looking forward to Spring, can't come too soon!
