Empathy to all our classmates that had to “batten down.”   So far we have been fortunate in Edmond:  tornado and softball size hail around us but not AT us. Everybody stay safe as you can.

Due to the severe weather we had move thru DFW & especially south of I20, I wanted to give you an update.  Janie Jones Gann is OK, spent more than an hour in closet and had hail, high winds and lots of rain.  But she posted on FB she & her doggies are OK.  She lives in Waxahachie.   Also, I talked with Charles Moss who lives in Midlothian and he got some hail too and spent a few minutes in a closet.  He is OK.  Toni Rogers Jones posted a pic on FB of a funnel cloud in her neighborhood.  She & Bruce are OK but some scary moments for sure. 

We're fine, the bad stuff went north & south of us.  No hail or high winds, just more rain.  I think some of the dirt is turning green from mildew!  Enough rain & dreary weather, let's have sunshine!

You probably don’t remember, Richard, but the Balderdashes and the Dagnagits had intense dislike for each other. One of the Balderdash girls dumped a Dagnagit boy and the fuse was lit. 🔥🤯

I never knew Don L and Sandy were twins, until I saw they are both Dagnagits.  I thought all the Dagnagit kids went to Adamson.   I remember Darla Dagnagit always wore a jacket that looked like it was made out of leopard skin.  My...my...my.

Don L. you can make all the jokes you want to, Don's heard it all from all our friends.  And my brother, who Don rides with a lot, has given him plenty of suggestions!! [eek]  If you can't laugh about your misfortunes . . .  all that's left is crying and that does no good at all.

However, I'm so sorry to learn of Kathy's bad back and subsequent surgeries.  She can't catch a break.  I hope she gets some relief soon.  If I remember correctly, you had some really bad years dealing with your bad back.  Maybe she caught it from you!  Y'all take care of each other as that's what we're trying to do here.

H a p p y  32nd A n n i v e r s a r y to Jake & Susan Sunde, married Apr. 22nd, 1989!  Notes say: “We got married at my brother's house in Grapevine.  Everything went smooth as silk.  Barbara and Donnie were there.”  

H a p p y  50th A n n i v e r s a r y to Larry & Susan Thomas married Apr. 24th, 1971! New entry, first time announcement after noticing Larry’s retirement entry back on Feb. 27th.

Major congrats, best wishes & may you ‘love birds’ celebrate many happy returns!
