Thanks Paul.  We had a storm blow thru here just before supper last evening.  Heavy rain & darned if we didn't get hail. Thankfully hail didn't last too long as it got to about quarter size before it let up.  Never lost power and it moved thru fairly quickly.  It does seem that OKCY gets more than it's fair share of bad storms, hail & snow.

I am ๐Ÿ™ for you but glad the sun is peeking out from the โ€œcloudsโ€ you have been experiencing. Speaking of which, we had a โ€œthunderthumperโ€ last night.  Lost power for over five hours. We are up and running again.  So glad Don is mending nicely. I have been ๐Ÿ™ for a 100% recovery.  If he decides to ride again be sure you have plenty of bubble wrap. ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you're wondering about me making very few posts here or on FB, I still try to look every day, but some days there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. Or, the other problem is, I can't see the words.  You may remember, 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with Branch Retina Vein Occlusion (BRVO) in my R eye. I've been seeing a Retina Specialist for 3 yrs.  Unfortunately, the pressure in my R eye skyrocketed early last week & I was referred to a Glaucoma specialist. You can't have high pressure in your eye or it will cause blindness. I get an injection in my eye usually every 3 months for last 3 yrs.  Unfortunately, the injection to slow the vein leaking in my eye has side affect of causing high pressure in eye. It's a tough balancing act.

So, with Don being severely restricted in what he can, my sweet cat,Tiger, getting sick the week after Don's crash and then the following week me going to specialist about pressure in eye . . . it's been busy.  Oh, to top it all off, the darn new Glaucoma Dr apparently didn't check every bottle of drops they put in my eye & one of them had Propylene Glycol in it. That's one of the 12 chemicals I'm highly allergic to!!  By the time I got in car and started home it was getting bad.  It was a Fri afternoon or I would have turned around and went back.  My R eye was leaking like a fountain, it was hurting and by 7pm I realized they had screwed up!!  I've spent the last week trying to get over the episode and to see out of that eye.  It immediately swelled, tuned red and hurt like heck.  Miserable night and next couple of days. Yesterday was a week since it happened and eye is almost opened back up all the way and only hurts a little.  Just wanted y'all to know, I'm still here & I do read the GB, even if it's with a magnifying glass.

Paul - I did have to get the magnifying glass to see those cute crickets!  Sometimes people just read, but don't post.  I hope all of you are hanging in there and riding out this darn Covid Pandemic.  And yes, Don is doing better.  Per Dr a few days ago collarbone is healing perfectly.  4 weeks down and another 4 to go.  Tiger got better with antibiotics from the Vet visit and I'm hanging in there as today is another day and a chance to make it better.

I talked with Susan Sunde late yesterday.  Remember, she feel at her house back in Aug. 2020 when her leg gave way.  Went to Rehab  from Aug until March 15, 2021 when she was finally able to have surgery.  They said the long wait was due to Covid and no hospital beds available.

She's doing rehab to learn to walk again and gain some strength so she can go home.  She sounded so much better than previously and she is really looking forward to going home, as she's been gone fro home since Aug 2020!  If you'd like to send her a card or note, she asks for it to be sent to her home.  Jake brings her stuff all the time & it's quicker than going thru the rehab center.

It is also a Texas conundrum why I called the Guestbook a guidebook.  Some things just cannot be explained. ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ฝ

I was pointing out the fact that since the East Texas rain report all I was hearing on the GB was crickets. How they got into the guidebook is a Texas conundrum. ๐Ÿ˜
