If JD was talking about titles for the movie remake of Jack's family abandoning him after his departure to college, I think some of the best titles have already been taken. You just have to add "...The Jack Hawkins Story" to the end of the original titles. For instance:"Gone with the Wind...The Jack Hawkins Story" "And Then There Were None...The Jack Hawkins Story" "Gone in 60 Seconds...The Jack Hawkins Story" "The Vanishing...The Jack Hawkins Story" "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou...The Jack Hawkins Story" And so, and so on... I'm sure there are MANY more. How about it classmates?
Comments: how's this for a title...."Run JD Run" SNL, do we have a private dining room at Mimi's Cafe on Saturday???? Will the combo be playing....you know the one....The Mimosas?? The Hallmark commerical that I was thinking of was actually a coffee commercial where the soldier comes home and surprises the household by making morning coffee and waking them up to the smell of Folgers in their cups!! Jack, I can hardly wait for the continuing saga! To answer your question....no rounds on the golf course! Any ideas up your sleeve? little "a" ....great titles.

Comments: Richard, with all our talented SOCites, we could do our own G-rated "main stream movie take-off" productions like--- "The Wild SOC Bunch"--- "Wuthering Trinity Heights"--- "War and Pease Jr. High"--- "The Lionette in Winter" "The Last of the Oak Cliffens" and the extra G rated "Old SOC Girls Gone Blind"
Comments: I note that 48 of the US states are adopting standardized curriculum for schools k-12; the holdouts are Texas & Alaska (according to a news report this morning). I don't have an opinion on this, but what's the problem with it....maybe a Smiley response. As far as movie titles, I just notice the almost-x-rated titles appearing on Showtime/HBO that are a take-off of mainstream movies...the titles at least are pretty clever. Two of my favorites are "Saving Ryan's Privates" and "These Hills have Thighs"......I haven't seen either... Southworth can probably critique both.

From the looks of things, I'm in for the duration or at least until the hands or eyes quit working. You and Richard feel free to chime in with your titles, I don't mind.
