Comments: Susan, I'll be sending up prayers for you and the doctors and your recovery. Hope the operation is a success. SNL - I put the pics I took at the Girl's Breakfast on a disc. Do I copy them (about 6) to my computer and email them to you or do I mail you the disc? I don't remember.
Comments: I know this group is really good a sending up prayers for recovery, so I'm placing my request. I'm going in for spine surgery tomorrow and would appreciate any prayer requests. I should be back home by Friday and recovering over the next couple of months. Thanks everyone.
Comments: Rick, thanks for taking the rain to Florida with you. It is a great day here. Sun Shine, no wind and rising temperatures. I always thought you were a smart feller. How in the world could you go to Florida and NOT take shorts or a bathing suit?? Do you do your own packing??
Comments: Well here I am in not so sunny Florida and it's raining in Tampa. Saturday it was warm and sunny people were out by the pool sun bathing and I forgot to bring my shorts and tank top. Well think of me while you are headed for work on Monday because I'm working here in not so sunny Florida.
Comments: Folks, FYI - This bike belongs to one of the former squad leaders from Vic Noah's Marine Corps unit in Vietnam.
Although Vic was inducted into the In Memory Honor Roll and his name doesn’t appear on The Wall, his name does appear on the rear cargo box of the bike. - Don

Comments: Looks like Shortcake is back in town. So much for quietness. Anybody else notice the price of gas creeping up again? Think they are prepping us for the "summer shortage"?? Any predictions on what gas will top out at this summer? Lately I've seen it from $2.52 to $2.69 and I have not been in the high dollar areas. I thought about buying a Harley but i can't figure out a way to haul the golf clubs on it. Another reason to thank McGee for introducing to the game.
Comments: Keep an eye on the Dallas local news this week end. A newly found MIA-KIA-Vietnam will be buried at the National Cemetery. Smokey, Tommy Sorrel, and Diane Brown Wallace will be in the special service. He will be the second KIA-Vietnam buried at the cemetery. SOC's Cloyde Pinson was the first. I wish I had more but I am out the door fishing 3 days with no cell phone and no inter-net
Comments: From another retired Coasty bud - it's liable to get some juices flowing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVAhr4hZDJE&feature=player_embedded

Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, John Southworth. We all miss you on the GB and FB.
Comments: We returned from Houston last night. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Mike's daughter and son-in-law but glad to be home again. Happy belated birthday wishes to John Southworth. That grandone of yours is really adorable. His sweet face makes me think he might be a conservative. Wouldn't that be something? ![]()
Comments: JoAnn I'll send you a pvt em with some info.
Comments: I'm doing research on my mother's family. I'm looking for anyone that knew Alvin Daniel Davidson. His mother Ruth Davidson was my mother Dorsie Rutledge Hager's cousin. Was wondering if his sister Joan Jones is still living & if so how to get in touch with her. If you know her pass this on to her. My sister Mary Killgore corresponded with their mother Ruth. If anyone has any pictures of Alvin or Joan would love to see them. Thanks, JoAnn
Comments: Good Morning SOC '66!!!
