Rod, we haven't yet met, but I have appreciated and enjoyed our email exchanges. Here's hoping the weather is good today in Oregon and that you're out in it having a great birthday.

What in the hell would I do without Jack and Richard concerned about my well being and the bar room brawl events I used to get involved with.

Jack...you carried my CC for a while...and don't recall you ever having trouble using it. All I remember is the bill I got for 3 straight months!!

Richard, you're safe with me...I know Sheriff Joe personally and he has some pale yellow jump suits that will be a better fit for you...in pink it's to obvious whom you really are. But it is really the Bikini panties that are the real give away!

Jack you should join us...Mary Ann and Kathy are really gonna run the get-to-gether, Dennis are I are just "YES" men.

Ah...vacation...can't wait. All of you are welcome...we could have a SOC meeting West...

Yes Don, the Bluebonnets were beautiful around Driftwood.  In fact, right outside our bedroom window in their side yard was a huge area full of them.  Don & I went to Salt Lick, but only to pick-up as you don't really want to go there with three 5-yr-olds & a newborn!!

Don L - Yes, please send me those BB pics!  I'll find a place to post for all to see!!

Richard - glad ya'll are fine & no, I don't think "pink" is your color, at least not Arizona pink!!

I think the flowers & trees are so beautiful bec of all the rain we had last fall & on into winter. 2nd wettest in history!

Susan - I hope one wk after surgery finds you moving better and on the mend!

I hear ya' Jack. I'm a little concerned about his bar-room brawls as well...finding myself in jail in Phoenix with Sheriff Joe and wearing a pink jumpsuit would really put a wrinkle in a visit.

Ada Ann -- Do you remember the red bud trees?  Well, they are SO beautiful now and dogwoods, too.  We have a white bud in our front yard and I just LOVE watching it in bloom.  A friend sent me a pic of her wisteria in bloom and it is "bloomin crazy."  So, you are right, it's sure beautiful in Texas this time of year.

Don -- What part of the hill country were you seeing the flowers?  Taking a ride down there sound like a good weekend trip (for me b/f the heat sets in).

Careful there Richard. If word gets out that you and JD are planing to roast the President, you will draw a big crowd. everybody from tea party's to the secret service. Don't know if JD's credit card could handle that.

Thanks for the concern; Don's right, though it's more "pulls & tears".  We were returning from Easter visit with the grand ones at quake-time...didn't feel a thing...but did notice our grandfather clock had stopped at 3:46 and suspected a shaker.  So far, we've only noticed one after-shock.

Looking forward to meeting JD in Phoenix later this month and toasting our President.

Don L, Please pop some of those pics my way.....Spring in NH is beautiful, but it does not compare to Texas in its bluebonnet glory!  Thanks

Susan - Major congrats on a successful procedure.  Hoping these next coupla months will be enough recovery time for all-hands personal welcome back in June at the mini.

Richard - Jack meant to be more specific, wondering if anything is cracked or broken.  Hell, we're 'boomers' - lotsa stuff is cracked & broken.  Just hope yours isn't the kind that threatened life or property.

John - Welcome back, as well.  Your b'day is over & so is Lent.  So, practice doing your taxes well & get ready for more - we're all a threat to the solvency of everything social program in existence!

Kathy & I teamed up with her niece, husband & daughter (who live nearby) this past weekend for a wildflower ride in the hill country.  Folks, it's a 'bumper crop' this year & the bluebonnets are near peak bloom.  Unless you've taken in some of your own elsewhere in TX, recommend getting your cooler, camera & heading out before they're gone, probaby by the end of this month.  I'll send some pix & SNL can post, if she wants.  Although, Driftwood probably had a pretty good showing while visiting the kiddos.

Welcome back, John. Saw on another site you are STARTING your taxes.  I received my refund check today!! At this point why rush? Just extend and you can send the government more money!
Richard, hope you and family are alright and nothing cracked or broke. Let us know!

Spending time with the grandones on Easter was great fun. SNL, I hope you got new pics of Brooklyn to post. I know she must have grown a lot since the last one.

Susan S., it's wonderful to hear your surgery was a success. Don't try to overdo too soon and you will be back good as new before you know it.
