Place: LV, TX Comments: Sorry for missing some birthdays & anniversary notes, but will post those ASAP. My office had to be shut down & converted into a temp bedroom to accommodate visitors from 12/19 til today - just now getting back online. Hope everyone had a great Christmas & looking forward to a greater New Year. Both my sons came down this year from WA & NY states - really enjoyed having them. We're an empty nest again this evening, putting our home back in order & freezing lotsa leftovers to be enjoyed again over the next several days. Saw a cute P&J face while getting caught up. Hope Donna R. H. & Toni's Stephen are recovering well. My back isn't responding very well to 3 recent epidural steroid injections. So, I'm sipping the last of the PA Dutch & pondering next options. Maybe I'll buy more & continue the liquid diet a while longer. ![]()
Place: coppell Comments: Sir Hawkeye, I have no idea where you got the notion I'm sitting around all day. I'm actually working 50 hours per week for a new boss now. One of the fringe benefits is I get to sleep with her. The last three days have been a #$##%%% blur as I'm on a tight schedule from the time card Nazi. I'm going back to corporate America. This is too stressful. BTW, What time is the get together at Uncle Julios on New Years Day?Haven't been on the GB since Sarah gave me a honey do list.
Place: 66erville Comments: Shortcake what do you mean you can STILL read?? Looking at the pictures and making up a story is NOT reading.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: I resemble that remark!!!
Place: Seus's World Comments: ![]() Okay ,no more jokes....Dr Seus said, "A person's a person, no matter how small."
Place: Richardson Comments: Oh I'm sorry Shortcake, wasn't sure you could see above the desk to read the computer.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Hey I am right here SNL an I can still read you know!!!
Place: Rainy Richardson Comments: OK, enough with the little people jokes, you're going to have Shortcake all upset!! ![]() I'm loving this vac thing, I took this whole week off. I could get used to this . . . !
Place: Munchkin Land Comments: Smiles,so it's the place where the sun don't shine?
Place: Conroe Comments: The nudist place is still there and is now called Camp Sunset and is for senior citizens only. They have an old sign that has the name on it with a message to watch for golden oldies. Right now there is a temporary sign that says " Sorry, clothed for winter. See you next Spring". Our friend used to say "nudist never worry about pick pockets, always know when it's raining and every one wears the same one button suit." He was a little weird.
Place: WORK Comments: Shortcake, is Kerrville to Kerrs as Whoville is to Whos??
Place: 66erville Comments: Congrats, Sam!! I never thought you would become one of those lazy, self-centered entitlements people. Not that you don't deserve it. You are too young. You have too many good ideas and too much drive to waste sitting on the sidelines. OK guys, I'm starting a pool. Dollar a guess. How many days until Sarah throws Sam out of the house and tells him not to come back with a job or something that keeps him busy and out of the house all day?? AND the BIGGEST NEWS FLASH OF THE YEAR.....The Smileys are friends with a NUDIST!!! We don't yet know if it is just a passing friendship or a close one.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Ya'll are all really bad! We went to the show with Toni and Bruce on Sunday and saw True Grit. It is a thumbs up. We are now at the lake celebrating Christmas with the kids and our 25th anniversary. We will leave for Kerrville on Thursday to spend New years Eve there. See you guys later.
Place: Conroe Comments: Tommy, That's funny. I don't think I would have the nerve. I've seen how mad little people can get. A friend of ours was in a nudist colony located at Cedar Hill. They had to ask a midget to leave. Seems he just couldn't keep his nose out of other peoples private business.
