Well, our oldest son, Greg, is finally a Texan again.  He left his civilian contracting job with the Army at Ft. Lewis, WA, where he was also previously on active duty at the time of his deployment to Iraq.

He recently accepted a new job with Boeing as a Field Service Rep for CH-47 'Chinook' helicopters in Corpus Christi.

He came up for a visit with us over this past weekend, where we celebrated with home-grilled 'surf & turf', plus several cold ones - it was great.

It would probably take a plastic surgeon to get the grin off his face, with this career change, and we're pretty thrilled to have him really home again.

You're probably right. I hung out at the TT, Mariano's, TGIF, Kitty Hawk & The Point!!  All my good friends lived in the same apt complex & most all of them were SW Bell friends.  Lots of parties & pool volleyball.  1975 thru 1980 was some very good yrs!!

I have seen Eli's pics.  I looked at his and Sophie's pics.  Adorable children. Our cameras these days are so wonderful; lots of pics to enjoy. My youngest grandchild is 5 now, so I don't have any little little ones anymore.  Don't know if my youngest daughter will get married and have kids.  She's still kissing the frogs to find the prince even though I like her present boyfriend; just don't know if he can keep up with my high maintenance daughter.

SNL -- We probably crossed paths at Old Town and just didn't know it.

FORT WORTH??  Everybody knows there is nothing west of Dallas (skiping that Cowbody building thing) until you get to Midland (and that ain't much) and then that little berg of El Paso, followed by Indian country.

Ada Ann, little Sophie isn't so little anymore. She is really growing and getting so pretty. Love the Cowgirl shirt too.

Sandy Mc, it may be time to put a brick on Eli's head to slow down his growth. He is definitely a sweetie.

We had a fun day going to our 11 year old grandson Trey's guitar concert today. He has gotten pretty good since he started taking lessons last October. His big sis Kira was home from Baylor for Spring Break which made it that much more special and fun. Good day with the grandkids.

Ada Ann, Sophie looks like a mini rock star!!  She's going to be a real eye catcher for the boys when she's a little bit older!!

Sandra, Eli is so cute, but how in the world does his mom pick him up?  She must have some real muscles!!  Has she taken him to Target yet?

Yes I do Linda!  For abt 4 yrs in late 70's I lived in the apts across st frm the Tom Thumb in Old Town!!  What a happenin' area.  TGIF was the place to be as was Mariano's Mexican restaturant.  Mariano Martinez invented the frozen margarita in 1971 using a soft serve ice cream machine!!  I spent many a Fri night at Happy Hour in there.  Man, a frozen Rita sounds good right now!!

Linda have you seen Eli's pic yet?  Glad ya'll had a good lunch!

Sandra-There's a reason many pics will not post on GB, they don't meet the GB specs.  I prefer you not post G-Ones or other personal pics on the GB.  They take up too much room & sometime will cause it to go outta whack due to going beyond the perimeters.

I recvd a cute one from Ada Ann, so when I finish with my expense rpt & other work related pc work, I'll post both your cute pics.  Look later this afternoon & you'll see two cuties!!
