Place: Calif. Comments: Well, how about some Irish poetry: Some Guinness was spilled on the barroom floor when the pub was shut for the night. Out of his hole crept a wee brown mouse and stood in the pale moonlight. He lapped up the frothy brew from the floor, then back on his haunches he sat. And all night long you could hear him roar, 'Bring on the %^&$#@ cat! HAPPY ST. PAT'S DAY

Place: bigD Comments: My feet didn't want to hit the floor this morning but they did. I think I will take tomorrow off. Happy St. Patricks day. I was passing by Greenville st on Saturday and watched all those people dressed in green. what a parade it must have been. Some were wearing skimpy outfits. Good thing the weather was nice.
Place: Cloudy in The R Comments: I liked the poem Toni! My Dad was Irish, my Mom German (Austria). He died 2 yrs ago tda on St.Patty's Day, kinda of ironic I think. In his honor & for all the good memories I have of him, I think I'll fix myself a drink tonight as I sit & think of the good memories. As my good friend Charles Moss always says, "Today, & every day my feet can hit the floor, is a Good Day!!" Happy St. Patrick's Day ya'll !!!!

Place: Allen, TX Comments: Don Fugate, at the risk of sounding melodramatic, I must say that I could not help but get wet-eyed watching the video of your son comforting the father of the missing boy at Lake Ray Hubbard. So emotional. The Fugate family has really been an inspiration to all of us. You are turning your tragedy into a positive force. Only God could help you do that. And, I know the missing boy's family loves and appreciates the entire Fugate family for the love and support and prayers right now. Thank you for being such an inspiring force for all of us. I know that I can speak for our entire class in saying that we all appreciate you and your family.
Place: Sachse Comments: Donnie, I saw that on the news today about the young drowning victim being found and I thought how the BMF Project had a huge part in accomplishing the recovery through your family's hard efforts to raise the funds that bought the much needed equipment that aided the divers in their search. We applaud your efforts.

Place: coppell Comments: What badges? We don't have no stinking badges. There was a hot mexican dish I was going to bring to the mini for all to enjoy but she had to fly back to Cancun. See all there on the 16th.
Place: 66erville Comments: Thanks, Tin Cup. It is always a pleasure to spend time with you and even better on a golf course. It is also always fun with the boys of '66, especially watching the Pool Guy wander around the course. Best line of the day was someone asking Sandy if the guy he got his HAT off of was dead or alive! The look on McGee's face was priceless. Thanks to Flyboy Hughes for coming up to be with us and for riding with the pouting Botox Kid (he did not have a good day). As always, Cold Cash Dagley stirred memories long forgotten and brought smiles all around. |
