Place: Tommy Sorrell Info Comments: Want to let you know our classmate, Tommy Sorrell, has been through quite an ordeal the last few months. He's been in the hospital for several months because he wasn't getting blood flow in his right leg and no blood down to his foot. They even took a good blood vessel from L leg and put it in his R leg to see if that would help, but it wasn't in time, damage was already done. About mid-March they amputated his toes and part of his foot. He's now in a Nursing Home but Eileen ( his wife) said they are trying desperately to get him into a special rehab place in Arlington that has a special division for amputees. Tommy is a very private person, but Eileen said that all they ask is for prayers from his friends to help get him thru this rehabilitation and for there to be no infection. Let's send prayers for Tommy and Eileen and ask God to bring him thru this.

Place: Richardson Comments: Wanted to let y'all know an old friend has resurfaced. Sandy Shellito sent an update of her info via our website Update pg. She is now living in Virginia and is also married. Her married name is Harkins. Place: Richardson Comments: Richard, thank you so much for that great update about Eddie Dick. It is such a relief to know he's back home and doing so much better. Never give up, always keep fighting.
Place: Uvalde and Arlington Comments: Good news about Ed Dick. His return to the hospital resulted in a tremendous improvement of his functioning and reduction of pain. His wife Lynda appreciates the Prayers that were said. She says it is wonderful to have the Ed she knew before the illness back home again. |
