With all the chaos and unrest going on in the world, as well as right here in the USA, maybe a little love & kindness is the way to go. Thought maybe we'd start with a cute bear carrying heart balloons and some pretty glittering hearts.

Yes, it's cold & windy here in Richardson, has been since last Friday. Guess the nice weather is gone until Spring. Sure was nice while it lasted, which was thru Jan 15th. Then winter arrived! [eek]

Shortcake .  .  .  where you been??  That's old news! In fact yesterday, Saturday, they had their big parade down Marsalis and by the school.  Yep, State Champs again!!!  SOC has won the State Title 3 times in the last 5 years.  GO Bears!

Wanted to let you know our friend, Sheryl Bunyard from class of '67, lost her sister Donna Bunyard from class of '64.  Donna & Sheryl were best friends and have lived together for many years in a house they bought together.  

Please think of Sheryl and their other siblings as they go through this terrible grief.  We care about you Sheryl, will send up prayers for healing.   God Bless you.

Guess I better start practicing writing 2026!  It was a quiet NYE here except at midnight when the 2-3 houses behind us set off fireworks.  They do it on July 4th as well.  [nono]  But, at least they don't shoot guns! [smile]

May all of you in pain, or suffering from a deep loss of someone, receive relief and better health.  

   Happy New Year to all my SOC Friends from all the many classes!!

I hope we can all get together in 2026 for one more big party to reconnect and visit with each other.  I'm going to do my best to make that happen!
