Place: bigD Comments: Thats good SNL, I mailed it on Saturday 9th
Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you Don for making us aware of the situation. Marth is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met & she always sent some funny emails. She & her family will be in my prayers.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Folks - Rick Mitchell & I spoke to Martha Noah, Vic's mom, recently & were told her health is failing. She was hospitalized about 2 weeks ago & diagnosed with congestive heart failure, plus some sort of lung disease. She has also been wearing a pace-maker for a while. She's home now, being care for by her daughters, Sue & Charlotte, with support from a hospice nurse. I plan to notify our SOC '66 Vets & Marines from Vic's Vietnam unit by separate e-mail distribution lists.
Place: Babyland Comments: What a tangled web we weave...JD, the one that has trouble with dust bunnies. Missed a lot on the GB. My computer is in Eli's room and just about the time I get through for the day and ready to check my email he goes to sleep. Happy birthday to all that have had a birthday, anniversary or anything else to celebrate. My thoughts and prayers are with Ada...one very strong woman as well as Bobby's daughter. Sam, throw out the Ambien!!!! Dangerous stuff!!! My grandson, Eli and his mom, Ashley will be going back to Cali on Friday morning. They have been here since June 21. I can't image wakening and not seeing Eli first thing in the morning. He is one precious baby boy and is so good. He sat through church Sunday morning without a sound, well just a few little ones. Tomorrow were celebrating the my girl's birthday at Celebration for lunch then both are having their hair cut and highlighted at Avalon salon at The Shops at Legacy. Fun day planned. (I'm so sick of shopping,...I am not a shopper) Jack, we could never re-create the 4th that we had several years ago at Gordy's. That was the best 4th ever! ![]() It's just way too hot!!!!
Place: REichardson Comments: Rickypoo, you are so thoughtful. I got the envelope tda w/Marilyn's name badge!! Thank you!
Place: FW Comments: JD, are you kidding about the business or is this for real? I can't tell. If it's for real, I'm really impressed! Bravo! Let's hear it for capitalism!
Place: Garland Comments: Thanks to everyone for all of the BD wishes - I did have a really great day, lunch w/Bobby and my grandchildren and then going to the show to see Bridesmaid with my two daughters. It was a great afternoon and I really did enjoy it.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Jack & Don...my apologies for not responding over the past couple of weeks. I have been so busy with my new business that I can hardly keep up..."My MALE Maids" has really taken off. I now have 36 male employees between 20 & 25 years of age that are all college kids and the women on the North Shore of Chicago... Lake Forest, Highland Park, Winnetka, Kenilworth are all clamoring for more. I now have 75 customers and they all want weekly service at $250 a pop...two guys work as a team and are completed within 4 hours...I get $100...they get $75 each plus tips and all the food they can eat...and the tips and food is fantastic. All are football players from Northwestern and Northern Illinois...young studs with bodies like Bovie & McGee...you know buff bodies...not like Jack & Fugate or me for that matter...but my clients especially like the guys after they add scented body oil to their upper bodies before they go to each house. The women are crazy and ask them to make their jeans tighter before they come back...I'm telling you guys there is money to be made using young studs working for middle age or older housewives who stay at home...advertising is by way of the housewives talking to each other...who would have thunk it!!! LOL all the way to the bank!!! What a cash business...everyone wins...me...the guys & my clients. The trouble is that they all go back to school in August and am not sure what I'll do at that time. Although some of them say they would like to continue and are working to review class schedules etc...we'll see. And yes Jack...we need to have a golf outing on Thursday before the reunion...I'm coming in on Tuesday or Wednesday before the event. If you want me to set it up...let me know.
Place: Texas Comments: Happy happy birthday Karen; hope that you had a wonderful day.
Place: Garland Comments: Free Slurpee - did you say Free Slurpees? Now you tell me... Cubby took me by three 7-Elevens' today because he said he had to pick something up ...had me wait in the car and, being the nice husband that he is, bought me a slurpee at each one for "my birthday". Well at least he took me by Denny's for a really nice dinner tonight - just could not figure out why I had to show my drivers license to eat dinner!!!! ![]() Oh well - maybe he will be as comfortable as Sam on the couch in the RV!!!!! ![]()
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: Happy Birthday, Karen! Just remember it could be worse ... you could be MY age!
Place: coppell Comments: Karen, if you asked me that question on July 3rd, which was Sarah's and my 42nd anniversary, I would say locked in the bedroom. July 11th would be out. Need to by a new couch. This one has conformed to my body and she is complaining she cannot sit on it comfortably. Hey felllow couch sleepers, this is a lose/lose situation. Oh well.
Place: Sachse Comments: Happy Birthday Shortcake and hope you spend your special day chillaxing. Happy Anniversary to Robert and Jolae. Sam, I guess it depends on whether the lock your wife is threatening to put on the bedroom door is to keep you in or to keep you out.
Place: Richardson Comments: Sammy, I don't know if it's "legal" or not, but I've heard it can be done! ![]() Shortcake - in honor of your B-day today, 7-11 is offering free Slurpees tda from 4 to 10pm!!! Have Bobby take you by for your free B-day Slurpee!!! |
