Place: Richardson Comments: All pictures have been posted, labeled & done. That's everything I have, but KRL & Bill Smith both mailed me their CDs, so more pics to come. Gee I hope Bill has some Fri pics! McMakin - I still have your sweater but give me another week to get caught up and we'll have lunch one day & I'll return it. Maybe we can do it on a day Linda can join us.  I liked the photographer too, he was cool. Did a good job, as all the pics were great! Why even Jack looks very handsome!!! Must be trick photography!  NOTE: Please see the post below by SNL where I gave the website & info for the photographer so you can see all the pics he took Fri & Sat.

Place: Photographer's Pictures from Reunion!! Comments: Apparently I'm not the only one having problems w/my PC. Our reunion photographer, Michael Bubel, sent em last night saying he was finally able to get all our reunion photos up for our viewing. One problem, when he got them to post most are not on the original background we chose! Not to worry. When you order a print you can indicate which background you want! When printed it will be exactly what you choose. At checkout where you put your Cr Cd info, there's a place for Notes. Tell him which background you want!
Place: LV, TX Comments: SNL - I have only one good photo, which I'll scan & e-mail this weekend. A group of us - Mike & Karen D., Glynda w/o 'Gentleman Jack', Sheryl, and me in the back (giving the fist-over 'Bowser' salute), taken by the event photograher w/dear old SOC in the background.
Many of the gals really looked good in their 60's wardrobes on SOC-hop Fri. night, especially Karen in that pink mohair sweater that she must've saved from her Storey or SOC days, or so it seemed. Otherwise, there was a distinct aroma of Aqua Net hair-spray in the air that evening - hadn't been that strong since the old drive-in nights ... sigh.
The other pix I took with my iPhone 4 were wiped out, along with 300+ others, thanks to the recent Apple/iTunes updates. There's a waiting list to speak to tech support, so they may be out there somewhere in 'the cloud'. If I recover them, I'll follow-up.
Jack - Doin OK, PT continues & hydrocodone reserves are handy in case of a flare-up. Thanks for asking.
Place: Richardson Comments: I got most of the pictures loaded & was trying to put names & info on them when my pc kept hanging up. I've been fighting with it for several hours & I finally gave up . . it won! I have a few more pics to load & will finish putting the names on all of them. Hopefully my pc will be in a better humor tomorrow & it won't be such a fight. Don't you just hate it when the machine wins!! But for now, at least we have some pictures!
Place: cypress Springs Comments: Ok SNL...my pics are downloading as we speak...will mail in the morning....things have been hectic here....my doctor is sending me to another dr.....his dr is not going to let him return to work....it is really depressing to me...really do not like seeing someone else right in the middle of everything. Course not his fault. Will let you know what is going on.
Place: Windy & Chilly in Richardson Comments: Hey Son, got your surprise envelope last night! Thanks, that was so sweet of you to send Kathy's badge. I'm not sure what all of you are thinking, but if you want to see pics of the reunion . . . you have to send me your pictures! The first full week after the reunion I had Nada, but I knew everyone was tired and catching up at work & so was I. Last weekend I got a CD from Lonnie Harmon (cl of '64) and a few days later Ronney McKee was kind enough to give me his CD of pics. That's it, no other picts recvd. Also, Lonnie wasn't there on Fri & Ronney forgot his camera, so there are no pics of Fri except the 3 of Sandra & Linda ( Thank you ladies) & the 5 or 6 I took of the table settings. By 10:00pm tonight I'll have posted what I got. I find it hard to believe, with all the camera flashes going off, that no one other than Lonnie & Ronney will send any pictures. This is my last plea . . . PLEASE put your pics on a CD (do not reduce or size them) and mail to me. If you send me a flash drive I'll return it to you after copying the pics. At our 40th reunion I recvd more than a 1,000 pics, so far maybe 100. Remember, "It's better to giveth than to receive" . . . so give 'em up!!

Place: LV, TX Comments: Yeah, Linda - Hence the terms, 'over the hill' & 'all down hill from here on'. Gravity takes over & makes them speed-up, while other things slow down, fall down, sag, break, whatever.
I'm still in the market for a WD-40 vitamin. Sales will be overwhelming & make the the inventor feel like he/she hit the lottery!

Place: Richardson Comments: Happy late B-day wishes go out to Linda Perkins Rich for last Fri!! It was a beautiful day for a beautiful lady, hope you enjoyed it! Can't beleive no one else has said it yet, but HOW "BOUT THEM RANGERS!!!!! Winning the ALCS for the 2nd consecutive year. We're going ot the BIG SHOW!!! This time I believe we'll come out winners of the World Series. |
Fun day at the fair yesterday...loved the fireworks and bought a ProAcuYoke, it's like having a massage without leaving the house.
