Memo To Donna Riley Pratley: I baked you a cake and sent it off by stage coach, knowing you probably don't get "mail" delivery out there in the country. Wells Fargo says it'll be there by October. Hope you like prune cake.

In the meantime, have a Happy "Cakeless" Birthday!

Spent 3-4 hrs in Grapevine, TX tda.  So beautiful outside!  Went to see the Italian Car Fest.  Saw lots of Jaguars, Lamborghini's, Alfo Romeros and even a Delorean!  It was free & parking was free!  Then we walked dwtwn Main street & saw some interesting shops & ate lunch.  Was nice to get out & enjoy the sunshine.  (P.S. not sure how to spell all those cars??)

Oh, BTW, lots of False Rumors going around on FB & Internet about Morgan Freeman dieing.  Don't believe it . . .  he is still alive.  I did ck it out though bec several people on FB were saying he died.  But they are misinformed.

Sally, always nice to hear frrom you.  You'd be surprised how many people down hear in TX watch ALL the Ranger games.  That's 162 a season!  Don & I probably have missed maybe 3 or 4 so far.   And for many older adults who can't get out anymore, the Rangers are a way of life.  I agree, the Texas Rangers are a good group of guys and they make you proud to be a Texan!  I'm glad your dad gets enjoyment from watching the Rangers & Cowboys!

Just for the record-- Go Rangers, Go Cowboys!
I never knew how much the Rangers mean to some people until I spent a lot of time with my dad after my mother passed away.  I guess he had been sitting there watching them all along.  And compared to other teams, they are gentlemen-- no spitting or scratching! I guess everyone has their favorite Ranger but, not being an expert, I like Yu Darvish!!  Now I don't want to hear anyone complain about all this
The rangers and the cowboys give so much joy to my father.
BUt my Dad likes the Cowboys even more!!  I guess I will need to sit by him more to find out about them.  They just don't play as often as the Rangers when I am there!

Have been fixing some quirky problems on the site tda & had to reformat several things to get them to stop acting crazy!  Realized I haven't posted any pics of triplets this year.  Put up some new pics tda.

Be sure to look at the 2012 Album & if you don't see your Grandone . . . send me a photo!!!  All of our G-kids have grown so much, just look at Toni's 2 boys. They've gotten so big!

KRL- I sure hope your head stops hurting soon.  That's got to make you real cranky!!

I did not try the hot grease...thought I would let someone else try it first! Although bobby might get a good laugh at me cooking in the nude think I will skip the cooking bacon also. But thanks for the suggestion jack. Still having the headaches but hopefully they will be gone by the golf and mini weekend.

Smiley,
Not to be pretensionous, but it is evident your preparation of your proposition for prepositions was paramount to a phenomenal preconception of a preplanned ideology.

I was able to find out Judy Holt's married name & date of her passing.  Judy Holt Neal, 64, lived in Rowlett and passed away May 20, 2012.  Her services were at Restland on May 25, 2012.  It was a very brief obit and that's all there was.

Tmo I will remove her name from the Missing List & add it to the Deceased List.  This is the 6th person to pass away from our class this year!
