Place: KC, MO Comments: Belated Happy Anniversary wishes to Barb and Don!
Place: Richardson Comments: Hate you are having such pain in your stomach Shortcake. But then . . . you've been a pain in the butt for a long time! ![]() ![]() Couldn't resist.Toni, you are having a really rough time with that bug, I think you got the Super Bug! Do hope you will fully get over it soon. Did Bruce get better or is he still ill too? Lots of SOC people have been, and some still are, very sick with whatever it is going around! Barb, hope you get more rest so you can keep your immune system up!
Place: Dallas Comments: Thanks to everyone for the anniversary wishes. It is hard to believe it has been 45 years since Don and I got married. We were just babies I wish we had been together, but he was busy unpacking in his new apartment which is beautiful. Probably better he was not here because I was feeling a little under the weather this weekend, hoping I was not getting the flu (which so far I have not). Karen, hope it is not appendicitis, hope you are better soon. Toni hope you are better soon as well.
Place: FW Comments: Karen RL, so sorry to hear you're experiencing more health problems! When it rains, it pours, huh? Take care and keep us posted.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: Happy belated anniversary Don and Barb! We will have to go out and celebrate...if I ever get well also! We thought I had pulled a muscle in my back when we were getting the RV ready to leave Kerrville to come home but the dr is thinking more along the lines of appendicitis. I actually thought I had it out when I had my hysterectomy but will find out for sure in the morning when they do a ct. All I know is I am in a lot of pain ...cannot bend over....if I am sitting it is extremely painful to standup. Cannot take a deep breath. This is not the way to start the new year!
Place: Richardson Comments: Attention Carol Carpenter - I've tried twice to send you email, but it has returned both times. Please click on the email icon above and send me your new email address. Thanks!
Place: Garland USA Comments: Happy Anniversary wishes to Don and Barbara! 45 years...and still going strong! Congrats to you both! Barely survived the blowing rain at the gravesite service for Sue. Came home and ended up with 101 degree fever. It seems that I cannot get a break on this bug I have had since a week after Thanksgiving. Feeling a little better today and hoping for a better tomorrow.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Barb and Don!
Place: Calif. Comments: Barb & Donnie....45 years? You know when you were dating you spent less getting into the Crest Theater than a postage stamp costs today. I don't know what's relevant about that. Just struck me as curious. Happy Anniversary.
Place: FW Comments: Happy Anniversary, Barb and Donnie!
Place: Texas Comments: Congratulations to Barbara and Donnie; may you have 45 more anniversaries. Even though you are physically apart, you are together in your hearts.
Place: Richardson Comments: It is a depressing, rainy & cold day here. But amongst the sadness there is also reason to celebrate. Today, 45 years ago, two SOC classmates got married and are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary, albeit, 2400 miles apart!! CONGRATULATIONS to Donnie & Barbara Fugate on their anniversary!! May my good friends have many more anniversaries to celebrate. Love you both!!
Place: Texas Comments: Thank you for the information regarding Sue; so sad to hear of her passing, but I know that she is happy with the Lord. My prayers are with Mike and her mother.
Place: Our Susie Q Comments: The official obit for Sue has been posted to the funeral home's site. A great photo of Sue. You may view it by clicking the site below.
Place: Richardson Comments: Carol & others who wish to send flowers or a donation. I've spoken with Everett (with Mike giving info in the background). Mike said Sue wanted donations to be given to the Church she attended & where her services will be held, the First Christian Church of Weston. Be sure to note in the memo section of your ck " In memory of Sue McDow". Scroll down a few posts as I have the full address for both the Church & Funeral Home. If anyone wishes to send flowers they may send them to the Funeral Home. The obit will appear in Friday's DMN paper. You can go to the FH site at www.tjmfuneral.com Scroll down just a bit & look on the right side for her name, click it. They have an abbreviated obit now & it will be replaced with full obit shortly as Mike has just made corrections & approved it. Hope this will help everyone. |
