Place: Richardson Comments: Well crude! It works for me, don't know why it isn't for y'all. Has anyone else looked at the pics & does the photo open up when you click it or not? Let me know bec I'm gng to call Network Solutions & see if can get it fixed.

Place: Richardson Comments: Susan, lots of the grp said they like the HI. Me too! And you couldn't beat the service, excellent! Sorry you couldn't get the pics to enlarge. I do know it has taken me about 2 months to get my new PC operating smoothly. As new PCs are bought & the Operating Systems change, some things don't work on old systems. All I know is this, if someone double clicks on the 1st pic it should open up and then you just click the arrow down at the bottom to go thru all of them. If it doesn't, you may have an old O.S. not compatible with the newer system Network Solutions & myself are using. I struggled yesterday trying to load the photos. This is the 1st time I've loaded a lot of pics since I changed out my PC and all of my software. I had to call Network Solutions to get help. I had to download an App from them that made it better for me to use the service. These new & better PCs are going to be the death of us yet!!! Susan, try again tda and be sure to double click. That's all I got girl . . .
Place: FW Comments: Sandy, I looked at the photos, but couldn't get them to enlarge and scroll. The small ones look good though. I had a good time at the mini and really liked the Holiday Inn.
Place: Richardson Comments: OK everyone, the pics from our Get-Together are posted! Again, sorry it took over a week to do it. But take a look and see who all came to party with us. We had new faces too, Jeannette & Clint Austin attended! Thanks to all who came & especially to Roe & Carolyn, James & Kay and Cathy & Fred bec they drove a good distance to be with us. Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, I did get about 25 or so good pics to post. I apologize for taking so long to post them. Last wk was just an overwhelming and very down wk. I don't know about the rest of you, but I haven't been so glued to the TV since 9-11. It began Monday and continued until Fri nite. Also in Mid-wk we had a family member medical issue to deal with. Spending most of the day in a hospital just sunk me further. But the procedure was successful and everything went great, for that we are grateful. You are not the only one to be asking about the pics Toni. I will get them posted by this afternoon. My apology to all for being so slow, as I usually have them posted within 48 hrs. Thanks for still caring about the pics!
Place: Same Place! Comments: SNL....I know we've all been overwhelmed with all the shocking news this past week. Personally, I am ready for some really good news about now! Just wondering if you are going to post any pictures from the last get-together at the Holiday Inn?? When we're not able to be there, I really enjoy seeing pictures of everyone having a great time. Still waiting!

It is really hard to believe that I run around with a bunch of 65 year old people! Boy you guys are getting old! If you need some geritol or anything like that let me know I will run to the drugstore on my "new" knees for you.

Place: Richardson Comments: I agree Richard!  I have been unable to ignore all the "Live" coverage on TV of these situations. Last night was the first night all wk that I turned the TV off B4 midnight. But wasn't that coverage of the hunt for that remaining terrorist amazing!!I know all this is not over . . . we still have major trials coming up for Kin & Eric Wms in Kaufman, the terrorist in Boston and poor West will be changed forever. Most in West are still in shock. They will still be in recovery mode for several yrs to come. But knowing that a terrorist and two killers are in jail certainly gives me a better feeling. As for N. Korea, I don't know what to think??!! The guy is crazy & he might just shot off one of those missiles. Let's pray our military is ready to shoot it down or that it fizzles out in the ocean!!

Comments: What a week: tax day, Marathon bombing, husband wife arrested for killing DA's in Kaufman, West, Tx blows up, bombers identified by Thursday, one killed and one captured by Friday. Politics lost in the action(gun control, immigration) and N. Korea mostly ignored, but there nonetheless. It's Miller time.
Place: Richardson Comments: Well Richard, your math skills always were progressive! And you're right, we have to hang in there. Makes me very thankful each mrng that I'm still alive & have a home in tack. My hat is off to the Boston PD, FBI & CIA working the Boston Marathon Bomb tragedy. They certainly have done a quick and marvelous job going thru mounds of video frames & communications to isolating & identify the two bombers. It's awful they killed another person, an police officer at MIT, as they were trying to escape. One bomber is dead & they're hunting down the 2nd one. I've never heard of an entire city, Boston, and the surrounding area being "locked-down"!! Wow, I start watching the non-stop coverage and can't stop bec it is unbelievable. Hopefully B4 nightfall they will have him in custody.
Place: Calif. Comments: I had an anxiety attack at an early age. When I turned two I was really anxious, because I'd doubled my age in a year. I thought, "If this keeps up, by the time I'm six I'll be ninety." Having said that, this has been quite an April...all the things SNL mentioned and then some (N. Korea for instance). It's a bizarre world we live in and getting stranger all the time. Hang in there folks. |
