Always good to hear from you Sally.  Glad to know you are still working and probably still walking to work!?  I know it's been a rough and cold winter in NYC, so am happy to hear you are your usual happy & chipper self.  I agree with everything you said in your post . . .  I'm not complaining because I'm still going.  Maybe not quite as fast as I used too, but I still get there.  And a Happy New Year to you my friend!!

Not sure what happened but I have not looked here for weeks!  Lots of things have happened.  I am so sorry to hear the news about Robert Norman.

Thank you for the birthday wishes.  I am still working—sometimes I feel like the only one working but I know this is not true.  Anyway,  66 seems like a good age as long as we can walk without problems, hear most of what is said around us, see with glasses  and still enjoy eating, we are doing just fine.  I wish you all a happy and healthy NEW YEAR!

The bathroom is completed and now all of the furniture in the downstairs bedroom is in storage and Bobby is taking out his Cowboys frustration on redoing the bedroom. In between the hammering, nailing etc we are packing and moving Mom into assisted living.....her choice. Look for upcoming pics on facebook.

I feel your pain Sandy, but I have two losses to deal with. I know the Cowboys should have won that game, it's a shame it was decided by the Refs and a stupid rule. Then Monday the Ducks got handled pretty well by Ohio State, thought we would actually win but we got out coached and out played.
I will be glad when football is over, then I have until Sept to get ready for next season. Hope your Rangers do OK this year.

The only thing us Texans want to Rock & Roll is our music!  Not the ground under our feet!!  Always good to hear from you.

Ok, it's been 3 days since the 'Boys lost.  Now I can talk about it.  I was so devastated and worn out when that game ended, I went into the bedroom, got in bed and pulled the covers over my head.  Don was going to watch the 2nd game and I wasn't interested.  After about 5 minutes I realized I might suffocate, so pulled the covers down, grabbed the remote and mindlessly watched six 30 min episodes of Caribbean Living on HGTV.  I didn't listen to any of the Sports talk on the news and went to bed at 10:30.  Yes, the refs got it wrong and Dez did make that catch and rolled over with it before letting go.  Enough said. What a great season, can't wait until next yr!

Hey, it's almost Spring Training time in Surprise , AZ!!!!  Rangers, please hurry!

Just got on the board for the first time in along time and read all the posts about the recent earthquakes in the Dallas are and how the ground shook.  I can not understand your issue here as it does that every day out here!  In fact it scares up when  the ground does not move at least once a day.  I bought a 57 Chevrolet a while back and it was even knocked off the jack stand once and I had a heck of a time getting it back on them before something knocked it of again.

What's the matter with you Ronney, siting around and complaining about something we can't change is one of America's favorite pastimes.
It was a bad call and a rule that should be changed. They did have a pretty god year, now if Jones just doesn't let any more talent get away this off-season they should be in good shape for next year.

Congrats to the Fugates!!!! You are QUITE a couple!!!!!

SNL, I am with you. I was sickened by the call in the Cowboys' game. But, no sense talking about it. Nothing is going to change it. I am still proud of the Cowboys. They did quite well this year. Hope they do even better next year.

That game was a heart-breaker!  Can't talk about it, no point. Didn't even look  at the Sports section today.  Once was enough, don't need to read about it.  I think the refs were wrong . . .  but my opinion doesn't count.  This should give the media something to talk about for another 47 yrs!!

True, the refs botched that call; however, the Cowboys should not have made that play the make it or break it play. They had 8 missed tackles, Romo staying in the pocket too long, and the Murray fumble. There were too many missed opportunities to win that game.
Rooting for the Pack J.D. To beat the Seahawks.

Sandy, I think the refs saw it right the first time. both feet touched the ground and dez  had the ball all the way to the ground.

The Cowboys couldn't pull it off.  Thought we had it with that miraculous catch by Dez but . . .  well, the refs saw it differently.   Congrats JD.  Good luck against the Seahawks next week.
