Place: Calif. Comments: ...and now the rain. You guys have sure miffed Mother Nature for some reason.
Place: Dallas Comments: I was at Chips last night and.the manager told me not only was Dennis Nance working there a little, but he was also having serious surgery tomorrow morning. It is some type of tumor around his neck which sounds like Hodgkins or non-Hodkins either are deadly. Could you find out hospital if it is a over nighters?
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, Wylie is a disaster. I'm just thankful we didn't have any broken windows with hail flying inside and we're hoping our roof will hold up until we can find a good roofer and get it replaced. Lots of details to work out.
Place: Calif. Comments: SNL, pretty graphic pics on the news about Wylie and all those giant hailstones falling. Good luck with all that.
Place: Richardson Comments: As most may know, last evening Collin County was hit a 2nd time in less than 2 weeks with a hail storm. Our ins adjuster came out Sunday and Monday we were hit again. But our roof was already declared Ruined as well as our patio cover, gutters, several screens and our 2 year old fountain. Fence still standing but will get power washed and re-stained. Although my area was hit hard, Wylie was devastated! they had to close the schs today because they were beat up so bad. Wylie had baseball and softball size hail. The whole town is beat to a pulp.
Place: Richardson Comments: Cathy Wood Nichols called me and we had a nice long conversation. She hated they couldn't make the Mini but she's had some bad health problems and it wasn't possible. She & Fred will be at the reunion and looking forward to seeing everyone.
Place: Richardson Comments: Fun Mini yesterday! We had 32 people and 16 of us went to Mena's Tex-Mex afterwards for dinner. Barb & I THANK everyone for the beautifully wrapped boxes you brought to help out with the 50th decorations. Had many different shades of Gold, Gold with shimmering stars and Gold with shimmering triangles. Also some very pretty polka dots and stripes! Y'all did a great job and we appreciate it. You will see your packages on display at the 50th Saturday night. I got 34 pics and they're all good. Will try to figure out how to post photos for the 1st time on new site.
Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: We found Gold paper at Dollar Tree. You may try that one if there is one near you.
Place: Sachse Comments: Would someone please tell me where I can find gold wrapping paper. I have been to 4 places and so far no luck. They all said they plenty a Christmas time. ![[frown]](/images/boards/smilies/frown.gif "Frown - :(")

Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: There are times when I wish I could have taken a picture with my cell phone. I was traveling West I-30 near Rockwall this past Monday when I saw a "Silver Alert"sign. "Silver Alert" 1966 black Pontiac GTO. Call Belton Police Dept. I can only imagine the conversation between Grandpa and Grandma that morning. "C'mon Mama, We're going out in style"
Place: Richardson Comments: Hope you're making plans to attend the Mini on Saturday, 4-9. If you're coming please bring your photos (see Donnie's note below) and some small boxes nicely wrapped in Gold and White paper. It'll be reunion time before we know it, so let's get going and get those photos to Donnie so he can do a video.
Place: Garland Comments: For all that will be attending the mini this Saturday bring some pics with you. On a thumb drive preferably. "........Please send at least 4 and up to 8 photos of things that represent you and/or your family. It can be photos of you, your spouse, kids, grand-kids, pets, etc. Whatever represents you and is a part of your life. So start gathering up photos, or making new ones, to send to Don. You can send them snail mail, a disc, thumb drive or via email. His address is in our class directory and his email is: Donald.fugate@verizon.net We want to have a video, please send photos as soon as possible!"
