Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: I suppose it would be considered in bad taste for me to say " We don't need no stinking badges."
Place: Richardson Comments: Since we're on the subject of Name Badges - We're not not putting ourselves through the time and expense of making each of you a nice looking name badge so you can leave it in the packet! ![]() When you pickup your packet it will include a directory and your badge. PUT the Badge ON! Please wear your name badge at least throughout the Reception (that way people can see who you are) and to enter into the Ballroom. Remember: we have many first time ever attendees and some who haven't been in more than 20 years, so be considerate and wear the darn badge Charles and I have made for you. You must have your badge on to enter the Ballroom. After that, you can take it off if you so desire. This goes for both nights. Badges required for reception and entry to ballroom. Seriously, Be considerate and help new attendees see who you are. Not everyone is on FB!
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: I guess that is true SNL. Besides which most people recognize me or my camera by now!
Place: Richardson Comments: More new people have registered! Ellyce King, Sandra McMakin, Randy Fields, Charles Goff, Doris Patterson and others too. Do go thru the long list and I bet you'll see some names you haven't seen in a long time.
Place: Richardson Comments: Carol - I'm not sure. I doubled checked the books and we had two reunions there at that Hyatt & Reunion Arena area, both our 20th and our 30th. Could have been either. Shortcake - That adds a whole new dimension to having someone at the door checking for name badges!! And it doesn't count if you purposely don't wear your badge just so you can be searched!
Place: cypress Springs Comments: If we are going to be searched at the door I want to pick who gets to search me! Hey Richard...is that a black wig you are going to wear? I am looking for one for Halloween and if you aren't using it!!!
Place: KC, MO Comments: ...or was that our 20th reunion?!?!?
Place: Richarson Comments: Smiley - You have a great memory. And you're right, he's the one to post at the door if we need a bouncer! LOL
Place: KC, MO Comments: Dale, I remember that from the 25th reunion, too! Kind of a cute story - I was talking with a 20-something cashier at Walmart on Sunday about our upcoming 50th. He sort of frowned and said, "Your 50th? You don't look that old." I guess he thought that he might have offended me, so he quickly came back with, "I mean - wow - you've held up real good!" I smiled and thanked him for the nice compliment - and then I laughed all the way to work! It's great to see the reunion list growing. Do any former band members in the Dallas area keep in touch with Butch Arnold? It would be WONDERFUL to see him in September. Love to all - Carol (My Royals are lookin' good so far tonight!)
Place: East of Coleman, Texas Comments: SNL, I think I would post Bovie at the door. He did an excellent job of keeping the unwanted out of the Party at the Hyatt at Reunion arena.
Place: Richardson Comments: Way to go Jack! Reinforce the name badge rule. I'm putting Jack at the door and if anyone doesn't have a name badge on they may get searched! You know Jack will stop at nothing to enforce the rules!
Place: South of Burkett, Texas Comments: Jack, I'm soiree, I meant reunion.
Place: 66erville Comments: Dang it. I already have the reunion, a wedding and the BMF golf tourney to go to. When and where is this soiree, Dale? Sam, I thought you might ride your lawnmower to the party. ANYTHING that is anywhere close to breakneck anything is off limits to you from now on. Richard bring that whole entourage with you, but remember, they have to be paid for and have a name tag to get in.
Place: lazy S ranch Comments: Sam, I get it also. We kinda backed into that one. Look forward to seeing you at the Soiree in September.
Place: Grosvenor , Texas 76801 Comments: Richard, Is that Ricky Nelson wig the one with the chin strap, cause that ain't fooling anybody. |
