Place: Richardson Comments: Hope everyone had time to reflect and enjoy Easter. I spent the day with my brother & his wife and my nephew. We had dinner and good conversation. Got home and received text from my two G-sons (two-thirds of the triplets) and they were on their way back to school in Fayetteville, AR. and can they stop by to visit. Heck yeah!! Just made my day! Still hard to believe the triplets are about to complete their 1st year in college!!??
Place: Richardson Comments: Happy Easter weekend to my SOC '66 family. Hope all my SOCite friends are well and may God bless all of you with a joyful and safe Easter.
Place: Richardson Comments: I spoke with Charles today, 3-25. He didn't get out of the hospital until late Friday. They have Home Health Care and PT people coming out to help him with new medications and how to handle new Equipment he was sent home with. Charles wanted to thank everyone who prayed for him as he believes yours prayers are what brought him through it all. He said this was the worst hospital stay yet! So glad to be home and will try to get better at home with new stuff because at the hospital he wasn't getting the best of care and it was difficult. Thank you for your prayers but please try to continue because he's still got fluid in his lungs. He did say that he loved the cards he received and in a few days he would welcome calls again.
Place: Richardson Comments: Rosemary, so good to see you post here on our GB!! Yes, do come back and check the GB or our Events page because we will be having a Spring Mini coming up hopefully in late April. I usually post a note on FB as well directing our SOC '66ers to check our GB for details on the upcoming Mini. Would love to see you again at our Spring Mini and future Get-Togethers as well.
Place: Haslet Comments: I havenโt opened our GUESTBOOK in a long time and today I read of how awesome our SOCHS classmates love and support each other. Please know that Iโm in prayer for GODโs comfort and strength for all of my SOC family ๐๐๐
Place: Richardson Comments: Spoke with Charles today. He's still in the hospital since he went in on 3-3. First procedure didn't go well and not able to complete it. Last Fri, 3-15, they gave it another try and success. He's still in hospital and will be for about a week or so. Trying to readjust his meds and pumping antibiotics and other drugs directly into his heart thru a pic line to help his heart and to help clear the excessive fluid in his lungs. His heart is wearing out and so are his kidneys. The most important thing we can do for him is to pray they can get him better and he can go home. That's where he wants to be . . . Home.
Place: Richardson Comments: Happy St.Paddy's Day! Today marks 15 yrs since Dad died. Seemed appropriate since he was Irish & loved his beer!

Place: Richardson Comments: I haven't posted this weekend because it's been a sad time. Said goodbye to Debbie, Donnie's sister on Saturday and came home to find out Bill had passed away. Charles' procedure didn't go well, in fact, they couldn't even get it done. Incompetence!! Let's leave it at that. Hopefully he will get to leave the hospital Tues or Wed. Oh, Karen Louton tore her rotator cuff and had surgery. As you can see, lots of our group need our care, concern and prayers. Will let you know when Charles goes home and when we are notified of Bill's services. |
