Thanks for sharing the pictures, Vernon and Sandy. I'm happy for the SOC students, faculty, and administrators who will get to enjoy the upgrade...just hope that "our SOC" is not totally lost.
I read many of the stories about how the school had fallen into such disrepair, and I honestly don't understand how/why that happened. My mother's high school is decades old than SOC and is still well-maintained. It's all about priorities and respect, I guess.
Hope that everyone is well and having a good first day of summer.

In another unexpected twist, I learned last night that Randy Randerson is the older brother of Earlene Shugart Davis son-in-law.  Her dtr is married to Randy's younger brother.  I didn't know Randy but sure am sorry to hear he was part of Earlene's family.  SOC connections run far & deep.

Just wanted to bring this to the attention of everyone. Class of ‘65 Randy Randerson, passed away today. Kathy Orr Arrington’s sister posted it on FB. I remember him as one wild and crazy guy! Prayers for his family.
