Place: LV, TX Comments: Belated H a p p y A n n i v e r s a r y to Bob & Eva Bradford on 6/21!
Place: Richardson Comments: McGee - He's been in Presby Plano & is still there as far as I know. I've reached out to Janet again for an up date and if visitors would be welcome. I haven't heard back from her. As soon as I get anything I'll post it here. I agree, he's going to need a lot of friends and support but, until his wife Debbie, or his sis-n-law Janet, say it's OK to have visitors at hospital or home, I'm holding off. We're all praying everything went well with the surgery but no word yet. Very scary. Let's keep up the prayers for his recovery.
Place: McKinney Comments: Sandy, do you have the Hospital Dane is in? Or home address? I would like to reach out to him. If anyone ever needed a Police Officer, you could name all of those guys we grew up with and feel safe. He was well respected on the job by everyone. The guy was fearless. Everyone have a safe 4Th of July. Sandy
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes it is Richard. It took me by surprise & really rocked me to the core. I'm going to ask Janet again today how surgery went & if she can give an update. Let's keep those prayers going for Dane Thornton, Paul Shulte and Speed Harrison as they each battle serious conditions. And I repeat . . . God Bless the Class of '66!
Place: Calif. Comments: Man, that's some tough reading on Dane. Wishing him well.
Place: Richardson Comments: I don't know who is on FB or who is "FB friends" with Janet Hohhertz Bronstad, Dane is married to her sister, but Janet responded this morning to my inquiry about Dane. He was headed into surgery this morning and he has had to have his left leg amputated just above the knee. It became infected. That's all I have but that's scary. Janet said it had been a hell of a 2 weeks! She was asking for prayers before the surgery. Will let you know when I hear any updates. Don't forget the services for Charles Moss's mom are Friday. I will be there. Scroll back about 2-3 posts to Deanna Dagley's post for all info about the services.
Place: LV, TX Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Sandy ‘Pool Guy’ McGee & Richard ‘Elvis’ Nance, today, June 26th! Guys – Hope you’re both able to handle all the male spoilage, with your b’days so soon after Fathers’ Day. Whether you were able to then or not, I say kick your feet back & lap it up while you can still get away with it. Best wishes today and for many more to come!
Place: LV, TX Comments: I had b'day reminders pop-up, but wanted to rewind a few pages to catch-up before posting anything. I'm sorry to hear of the loss in Earlene's family. I recall Randy Randerson from ROTC, but didn't know him as well as some of you. I sure hope we get some encouraging news on Dane soon and hate that his procedure didn't go well - he'll be in my prayers. And, of course, I'm saddened by the news of Charles' mom and join all of you in prayer, hoping to bring comfort to him in his time of such personal loss. Many of us never quite get over losing our moms and can certainly empathize.

Place: Edmond Comments: Will do.
Place: Mansfield, Tx Comments: I just wanted to share with all those who love and pray for Charles Moss, that his mother has departed this earth and is now rejoicing in Heaven. Charles called and Gary wasn't here, but we talked for a while. It is a major relief for him, having never wanted to leave her behind; also, it has been an enormous struggle, in his condition, to be able care for her. He is grateful for having her all these many years, and she passed at 97 years ofd, with Charles next to her. Please keep Charles in your prayers during the next few weeks as he deals with mourning, as well as praying for his health.
Place: Richardson Comments: Nope. Jack, I have never seen a rendering in the paper or on TV showing what it is supposed to look like when finished. Knowing DISD, they have no idea either, they're just winging it!
Place: Sachse Comments: Any idea what they are adding on in the back of SOC??
Place: Richardson Comments: If you're just checking in on the GB, scroll down to my previous post about the remodel of SOC. There's a photo & a link to an album of pics taken by Vernon Moreland. Check 'em out, pretty interesting. |
