Comments: I can't go Fri but I'll give you some first-hand suggestions. I've eaten in O.C many times in last 3-4 yrs as they've had a lot of the '63 luncheons there. The Bishop Arts District Jack mentioned is a real winner. Get out your Mapsco or look up the addresses in Rand McNally on-line to see how the streets flow. The Arts District mainly runs down 7th st between Bishop and Madison and many of the restaurants are on 7th st & Bishop with some also spilling over onto 8th. I've personally eaten at Hunky's, Cosmo Rouge & Tillmans. Hunkky's is a throw back to the 60's & has great burgers, malts, & other stuff. It's loc @321 N. Bishop Ave 214-941-3322. Also the always good El Fenix is a short hop when you take the Colorado exit off I35. Charles & I met several times at the El Fenix when he was doing our badges for the reunion. Toni it's a good place to leave your car ( highly visible & no hidden areas in the parking lot & always lots of traffic going by). Ya'll could meet there & go in one car. One last suggestion, I've also eaten 3 times at La Calle Doce & it's good food too. Ladies, that's my personal experience in O.C. restaurants and I've never felt uneasy at all at any of those places. They're all highly visible with lots of traffic & no I was not the only blonde person in any of these places. Oh, & all the Bishop Arts parking is right in front of the bldgs. Good Luck Girls & Have Fun!!! ![]()

Comments: I will present it to you in person in June!!! And believe me - it is well worth the wait!!!!! ![]() Yesterday I played the role of a diabetic for a training film for the Fire Department that is going to go out Nationwide. In one scene I was supposed to set at my computer and act confused - Bobby said that scenerio was probably the easiest for me and the guys probably could not tell the difference ![]() Anyway, when I got finished with that the Chief called me in his office and all the Deputies were there and they told me that they had voted yesterday morning and I had been nominated by the guys in the Department and had gotten Volunteer of the Year for the Fire Department. So on the 29th I will get a plaque and have to give a speech (I know-its hard for me to talk!). Of course, they said that they will have to find something for me to stand on so that I can see over the podium!!! That is just not right!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Comments: Dale, received your package yesterday. Thanks. I haven't had a chance to play it yet.. Will do so tomorrow. Went to the Park Central Surgical Center this morning at 6:00. Kathryn is our 11 month old granddaughter. She had tubes put in her ears. Doing well this evening. The ENT doctor said it was time to do this since she has had 4 ear infections in the last 4 months. I'll be soooooo glad when this topsy turvey weather is out of here. This is nuts. 82 degrees yesterday and 35 tomorrow morning. Good night all. |
