Comments: Linda P, Toni and Sandy- Thanks again for a great time, I can't wait for the return trip (I promise not to get to emotional
Comments: I just got back from FL. I left behind 70 degrees and a Mustang convertible...for 20 degrees and one of J.D.'s leftover storms...thanks alot. Rod, Caden is so cute with the train set...wasn't too many years ago that you made the engine for him. I still have the plans....just in case! Buddy, did you pick up a class in Ebonics at SOC? Doc D....where are you? Need to play some more name that tune. Tourist Ladies, sounds like you had a wonderful time on your tour. Yes, Sandy, you do need to go to Deerpath Shopping Center!
Comments: Buddy, just bring that 12ga up and we'll take Caden and go shooting. He would love it. You should see him walking in the brush with his plastic bow, sneakin' up on them deer. As for butt kickin', I let Matt take care of my light work mainly because he can and it doesn't hurt me. You asked if I could still jump and click my heels together, yes but not at the same time. Even though I've gotten wider I'm still as tall so it's a long ways to the ground so I never do anything on purpose that could make me fall. Karen MG, thanks. Luckily for Rhonda she doesn't look any more like me and as for her temperament, she gets it from mine and Linda's sides so she's like a rattler coiled and ready to strike. Come to think of it she does tend to lean more towards Linda's side.
Comments: Rod, your grandson is so cute. I also think your daughter Rhonda favors you a lot, in looks as well as temperment it seems. Shortcake, did you survive all those firefighters? Tell us all the juicy details. I think deciphering Buddy's postings is more fun than the New York Crossword puzzle...very challenging and definitely funnier.
Comments: Sandy McM don't need no driving range. have't had a wreck in years. but i'm always ratha ta go play golf with friends
Comments: Rod -I Guess what u said in my Den still holds truer than ever. You are going to kick my b---. Well we could tango and have our heart attaches together, but tell Matt I won't no part of him, the boy is too big. Tell Ronda she is a cutie (that is my oops) and that fine looking young boy Caden (Texas blood) I have a 16 Gage (no kick) Shot Gun i would be honored to let him fire off. Just had lunch with ever bodies favorite Glendale Life Guard still slime, trim and looking good Doug Hutt 65er. He said hI. We told old SOC stories. Now I have heard this one over and over but when Doug tells it I always crack up. As a life guard diving to save a life he lost his swim suit and had to make a choose swim suit or life. i will let Doug fill in the blanks as he can only tell it
Comments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You know who you are!Haven't seen Buddy posting in a while. Ya wanta bet he's at a driving range Probably has Logan with him.![]() Linda, don't worry they'll have golf carts.
Comments: Yes they can get confused but I would caution him about her. She had to put up with me growing up and now with Matt so she's seen and heard about all the BS there is. Like the rest of the family she isn't afraid to speak her mind so there is never any doubt about how she feels about something. I know that caused embarrassment for my Dad more than once while I was growing up, but it ran in the family. I guess we should give Buddy some slack since he is a SOCite.
Comments: Thanks Buddy for the translation. I don't text on my cell phone. Sandra -- WHAT! Peel rubber! Toni, if you're driving next time, I'm riding shot gun. Debbie can remember details like Gary Dagley. They could do our SOC '66 geneology together. I have long legs and can run real fast when scared or have to go to the bathroom.
Comments: Hi Rod-- I was laughing too when Buddy referred to Caden as a "girl". But then maybe he was talking about your dtr??!! But hey, you know how this younger class gets confused!! ![]() ![]() Rod, got your donation ck over the wkend! Thanks so much for supporting the site & GB! In fact, here's another big Thank YOU to each of you who have sent donation cks! It is appreciated!
Comments: Buddy, I will do you a favor and not tell my Grandson you thought he was a girl, he is cute but not into girl's stuff. He already shoots our pistols and rifles including my 300 H&H Mag. His Dad holds it for him but he pulls the trigger and smiles from ear-to-ear. I'll send you a pic of it. Being here in Oregon has toughened him up, hates to put on a coat and refuses to wear a hat, pretty much like me. Also like me he's very patriotic and already knows the Pledge of Allegiance and said it yesterday before getting to the table for breakfast. His Dad is from New Zealand and half Maori but just became an American Citizen so he's very proud too. At 4 he's already been camping for two years now, fishes and has been hunting with us. Guess you can't tell I'm more than a little proud of him, now I just need to try and keep him from making the same mistakes I did. BTW, in the pic of the three of them, if Matt stands up he's over 6'6" so I feel pretty safe with him along and a lot braver. I'm lucky he likes me, don't think I could out run him if he got mad. Thanks for the other compliments too, I appreciate them.
Comments: Sorry Linda P hate to leave u out of the loop. I know u were a very smart girl in school. I was bad in English good in math kinda guy. I will break the jebber jabber down.
Comments: Sandy McM...after Friday, I'm not surprised at anything Linda P might say or do!!!! Don L, I tried to get someone to offer up a Hummer but surprisingly enough we didn't need one. We got out just in time...there was a big robbery out near JD's place at some clothing store! I remember vividly the Glendale Park deal....just wait until it's my turn to drive
Comments: Linda Kay, I'm surprised at you!
Comments: Since last week I have been contemplating whether I should ask if anyone knows of a "buddy decoder". |
