Susan, good to hear from you.  I care, too.  I correct my kids when they make a grammatical mistake....guess it is the old school teacher in me!

SNL, re your post last night about spelling ... I care.  The state of this country's spelling, punctuation, etc. is shameful and sometimes I feel that I'm the only one left who does care.  (Now look what you did ... you got me up on my soapbox!!!)

Just one more thing.
The Cowboys should have three on that list. Dandy Don should have been on the first vote!!

Sammy:  I'm not sure if you are talking to me, saying that Naughty Boy and Ronney sounds like a B movie (with which I agree)  or you  are including me in the title.
If it is the later, what did I do to get included?? Or is it i just get thrown in with everything now??

Well isn't it wonderful that Wallmart will not undercut the local ARAB merchants??Remember when their slogan was buy American?? Now they are not even interested in selling American! I wish, as Sandy said, people would realize the negative impact Walmart's way of doing business is having. We wonder what is happening to our country and we encourage it by shopping with people who's only concern is the bottom line. Oh, they advertise that they "care" about the community and make a big show out of the things they do, but there are soooo many cases of coming to small towns, opening a store, lowering prices and driving all the locals out of business. They then find there is not enough business to satisfy them and they close up. The town is left with no places to shop. Save America! Don't shop Walmart!

Yep JD . . .  Roger & Troy!  One of them as always been my hero & still is tda!    Congrats to Brett, he will leave still intack & pretty darn healthy rather than so banged-up & hurt like some of them do.  They seem to play one year too long and get seriously injured.

Our so is melting & the sun is shinning.  It's 39 & headed to 58 tda!

Well...I guess it had to happen...Brett Farve has finally retired. What a run.  And he has one more milestone to achieve...he will be the 2nd Green Bay Quarterback to be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Now...I would like to know what other NFL Team has achieved this fact...which would be the Dallas Cowboys...congrats SNL

Ada...you tell Sam that I am with you...we are at 91 inches with our record being 93 inches...I have had it up to my A_ _  with the snow and the cold...we had an anomaly on Sunday with the temp at 50 degrees...but are back in the teens today with an over night low of around zero...

McKee...com'on bud...get back in the game...

Cheezehead, just heard your QB has hung it up. He's been a great story, competitor, athlete. I'm sure the Frozen Tundera is in mourning. Send him here, we need a backup, and a leader.

But Ada dear, you guys should be used to seeing mega snowfalls. We seldom see it in big D.

J.D. tell ADA how much you really love the snow and sub zero temperatures.

Sandy, My son and daughter-in-law live in Mckinney. Took the grandkids out last night and made a snowman.

Got my award on Friday night - and just as I figured they got the tallest Battalion Chief we have to give it to me and he really gave me a hard time for a couple of minutes but then he was really great.  The plaque is really great and I had a great time.

We did end up buying a new RV!  It has three slides on it.   We might just end up having to have a GNO's over there - wine & cheese party.  The living room is pretty big with the slides out!
