Good News on Donnie Fugate!  t/w Barb & he had the Angiogram & found one of his arteries blocked 99%.  No wonder he had trouble breathing!  They did an Angioplasty & put a stint in to open the artery.  He's in recovery & doing well.    Good thing Barb didn't listen to that Dr in Albuquerque & they decided to come home and get a 2nd opinion.  He will be there overnight & then an additional 2 days off.  After that Dr sd he can return to work! 

This is GREAT News & I'm very happy!

 Remember how "hard" this was to read for some of us. I was always in the "low readers circle"; and look at me today typing messages and reading posts!!! (still have trouble at times) I found this book Sat. at a garage  sale for 10 cents.  My boys thinks it's funny. Any news on Donnie? Prayers and good thoughts for him and Barb.  DEB

Toni -- The 1st time I saw one of the cavalier spaniels was in 1983 when I was riding down a boat in England somewhere.  A man had the dog and we asked him what type of spaniel it was and that is what he had. Congratulations upon a successful birth.  I bet the puppies are real cute.  I never could watch puppies being birthed.  Too yucky and scary.  Of course, I was in elementary school.  But even now, I think it is.

JS, I saw one of those Joe Cocker Spaniels once. It was wearing a ripped t-shirt and had a very raspy bark.

John S.....they are the most loving, beautiful and cuddly 'hounddogs' you'll ever come across.  They were originally bred for royalty in Europe.  They do live up to their name...cavalier!  The ultimate snob/lap dog!!  Thanks, Susan.  That was my first r-e-a-l experience in birthing puppies.  Now if Bruce is gone when the other female decides it's her turn, I won't pass out...not exactly for the squeemish!

Toni, I had to Google "cavalier king charles spaniels" after reading your post to see what you were speaking of. Kind of an upity name for a hound dog, isn't it?

For my money, I still lean toward the ever-popular Joe Cocker Spaniel.

Sandy McM....you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, and I'm very sorry for your loss.  How wonderful that you were able to spend that time with him.  Ada, I like the way you think!  Susan, I'm so sorry for the loss of your four-legged family member.  On a happier note - one of my cavalier king charles spaniels (both are preggers!) had her puppies yesterday - she had two females and one male.  Mother and babies are doing well. 

Sandy Joe....I hope you have better luck with the lunch with Happy Jack than I did.  He invited me to lunch and never followed through....and I was perfectly will to pay my own way! 

Thanks, Richard for your response.  Betty is one of my cousins in Calif. and she is in banking.  She thought sure she knew you.

Sandy - When we leave McKinney, we usually go to Market Street and buy Boars' Head Turkey and some other stuff we can't get in Duncanville.  Next time, we'll meet at the Deli Section.  I did get to the Starbucks 2 times at the Croatian Village.  NICE!!

Well, I hope Bovie is able to tell the wrong side of his underwear from the right side and backwards from frontwards.  It was a little difficult to convince a 2 yr old that she was putting her underwear on all wrong.  Maybe Charlene has better luck with him.  All that glitters is not gold or on right.

Linda P., I waited in the produce section at Market Street but did not see you, next to the apples. Glad your grandaughter likes the glitter, Bovie has been a big fan of this for years, he likes to be shiney.
