Well, Ms. KMG, we do agree that they are masterfully crafted and designed to preform. The thing is, being female, they are not content to preform as designed, but seem to be compelled to "add" something. That addition is sometimes good but often disastrous.  (slices or hooks) And while given excellent directions, they become lost.  Besides, they all the time want to rearrange things, resulting in the clubs being "out of order" in the bag.
And to rest my case, only a woman would buy a TREE to grow inside a house!!!

Karen, I had a come back, but I like your much better. Yeah, Jack!
I bought a live plant (tree) at Sam's while I was shopping for the hotel so I brought it by the house.  It's for indoors, because I get made fun of for having artificial (expensive )silk ones.  If it lives it's female, if it dies, I know it's a male.

Robert, go to the Rio Grande in Greeley...very good food and price is reasonable.

Robert, you can't imagine how bad the "Tex-Mex" food is in Minot, North Dakota. I visited my son who was stationed at the Air Force base there many years ago and we went to the only Mexican food place they had, just so he could show me how bad it was. The "hot sauce" was basically chili powder stirred into water. The rest of the food was just as bad.

Susan , ty, that is what I keep telling them up here. Dang hard to get good Tex-Mex food here. Went to the Lone Star steak house here and I be danged if they did'nt put beans in the chili, never heard of such. I would give two dogs and a parrot for one night at Billy Bobs fur sur since the Texas Tea House shut down.

Robert, we're still hoping you get to come back to Texas for one of the get togethers.  And don't forget, you're still a Texan at heart regardless of where you live!

Jack, it is my understanding that golf clubs are referred to as "she" primarily due to the fact that no matter how well they are designed and masterfully crafted to perform, it is the male user's stubborness and determination to "control" the club to perform in the way he believes it should that has resulted in clubs personifying the feminine tense. FYI

Happy Birthday to all you slow pokes coming up on the big 60 .    I found out the other day at my next birthday I will go from disability to retirement. they say nothing will happen or change. I was at least hoping for a gust of wind from the sky instead from thier office. hmmm.  I would not be the oldest in the class had I not flunked the sixth grade. That was back in Hutchings
<sp?>   .  Dang country schools seem harder than citiy schools back then. The wife here says I am loosing it and just as in my hippy days I still want to know what the "IT" is .
Later taters !!!

I don't have much experience with them but, it is my understanding that golf clubs are thought of as female becasue no matter how often you work with them or take them out, you never know what the results will be!
