Comments: Heard Brett's interview last night, and it broke my heart. The guy's in so much pain he could hardly put sentences together. He wants to play the game he loves, and here the Packers are treating him like a second-class citizen. I thought Packer fans had heart. Is that anyway to treat a 1st Class gentleman that gave you the best years of his life? Sorry J.D. if this upsets you, but Mr. Favre's a sweetheart! My husband and I spent a terrific day visiting with the wonderful Smileys---my old neighbor Dale and my dear friend Yuvonne. What a great couple they are, and we could talk and laugh forever!

Comments: Staci, I can understand your pain and confusion after learning of your Dad's death the way you did. As sad a time as it may be for you, something wonderful could come of it if you and your sister are able to establish a relationship with your half brother Larry Jr. I hope the very best for all of you. Comments: Hey Cheesehead, where do you stand on your whiner's "retirement"? First, they didn't want him any more (poor thing) so he decided he should retire. Then it occurred to him that he might could play somewhere else so now he wants to un-retire and Green Bay to release him so he can sign and play elsewhere. How would you feel about him playing somewhere else?? If I remember correctly, Emmitt Smith's least two productive years were the ones with Arizona. I bet he regrets continuing playing.
Comments: Staci; we are sorry for you and your sister's loss. Hopefully you will have an opportunity to connect with Larry Jr. and get to know one another. Life and death does take and make for some strange paths.
Comments: It is unfortunate that I had to read about my fathers passing in the newspaper. My maiden name was Staci Reid and I am one of Larry Sr.'s two daughters that have since been forgotten. My mother Teddie was actually Larry Sr.'s second wife. I was born in november 1971. I also have a sister Traci that was born in 1978. Both of us belong to Larry and we were also both left out of the obit. Time has healed all but the confusion still remains. I am sad that I never had the chance to really get to know my dad after the age of 10, but do have the chance to possibly reconnect with Larry Jr. Betty, I know Traci recently emailed you and I am excited to possibly reconnect with a brother I really know little about.

Comments: Sandy Joe- did bizzness with Sunbelt. Peak days would pull 10 to 15 extra lifts to make over 60 forklifts. 5 ton lifts from Sunbelt could get the job done, loved'em, good company. Signed a weekly propane bill I would hate to see it now. Ready for next week need day and start time so I can get an OK from Georegene (in her dreams). BTW in the 9th All Stars 3-3 looking for a Ranger to break it open

Comments: I found an interesting site to assist you in the process of naming your next grandchild. It gives a beautiful chart exploring the popularity of various given names over several decades. For instance, if you type in "Dale" you will see that particular name peaked out in June of 1948 and has suffered a massive loss of popularity each year since (you and I know why). Comments: Hi Barbara A. Good to see you post. I hope you and Ed had a good vacation at the lake. I agree it has been very disconcerting losing three classmates within 6 weeks of each other. As I've said before, we never know when it will be the last time we will see one another so we should always take the opportunity to be together whenever we can. I really hope that you and Ed can make our next get together in the fall so we all can see you guys again. Or if you are feeling adventurous, you can join us girls in a little paramilitary training to deliver a little payback next 4th of July to some "deserving" male classmates. lol. Tell Ed I said Hello and stop being such a hermit.
Comments: If Shortcake nicked his ear, she was probably aiming MUCH lower, center mass. While I once thought you gals should have no limits in the battles, I have decided that heat seeking missiles (or any heat seeking devices) should be outlawed. After all, it is not our fault that with y'all around we guys heat up. It is not like there is anything we can do about it. That give you an unfair advantage. SO, one rule. No heat seeking devices. Good to hear from you Ms. Arnold. Start working on Ed now to join us at the fall get together. It would be great to see you both. |
