Dennis, when Sandy McMakin gets home from work I bet she will give you some answers, but sounds like it could be one in the same!

I was browsing through the pictures in the misc photo album and noticed Sandy Mc 's family, and was wondering if her daughter Courtney went to Trinity High. If this is the same Courtney then she went to school wih my daughter Carrie Hayden and were best friends, and with that Sandy's husband Mike would have coached the "Derek Dolls" of Dresser Industries a team that my wife played for when we were involved in softball. Could this be so?

Ada Ann, I'm afraid I can't help you with that one. It sounds like a compilation of many songs and/or poems.

Welcome back Cap'n Jack, or should I say "Wet Willy". (Sandy McM, I like the names you picked). Jack, I never realized what a closet fan you were of Andy and Opie and Mayberry. Did ya bring us a dish of Aunt Bee's Apple Dumplings? We're all gonna need a little "persuasion offering" to garner our political support.

Just to show you what state my mind is in, this little ditty has been stuck in my brain.  I need help with the blanks:

There was a little _______

And it was made of glass.

Lulu came and slipped upon her little

Ask me no more questions

And I will tell you why...

The Eyes Of Texas Are Upon You....

Did I make this up?

SNL - I will get you some more pics as soon as we get back to town.  We took the grandkids out of town on vacation while Tammy and Mike were on their honeymoon.

Treasurer Jack - I hope you meant to say "get the deposit slips ready".

Turn in your expense receipts after you turn in that briefcase full of political donations and contributions to our campaign.

V.P. Dale and I travel to Brooklyn tomorrow for another strategy meeting. Well ... the Brooklyn Bagel Cafe off I-45 South.

We'er back. Been to North Carolina for the son's wedding. All went well. Mission accomplished!! Stopped by Mount Airy on the way back. That's where Andy Griffith grew up and is a basis for Mayberry. They do use it. Ate lunch at Barney's cafe. Saw Opie's candy store and Snappy Lunch. You could take a tour of the town in "the squad car" (we didn't) Aunt Bee's book store. Great statue of Andy and Opie walking to the fishing hole at the Andy Griffith Playhouse. Took pictures of Pilot Mountain. Al,most got washed away by a rain deluge in Knoxville. Stopped in Nashville and had lunch with a friend that used to work with Glynda. Almost stopped and spent the night in Tunica MS., but decided to sleep in my own bed last night instead. Saved the cost of gambling too. Got caught up here. JS, I'll be submitting an expense report to you as soon as I figure the mileage. I've got all the meals and hotel receipts. Get the check book ready!!

Right!
Hey, we looked pretty darn cute in those pictures.  I can't believe they turned out so well.  You can't tell how wet we really were.  Must be that $3000 camera Shortcake has.

As tough and tiring as our waterfight was, it pales in comparison to the day I spent yesterday with my 8 year old grandson going to the Science Museum, IMAX Theatre and Planitarium. It was great fun but I was a tired puppy at the end of it. "Roving Mars" at the IMAX is a great show and I recommend it. We learned of the earthquake in LA while we were at Fair Park and we were worried since my 16 year old granddaughter is in LA on a mission trip. When we finally got in touch with her, she said they were riding in a van at the time and barely noticed it.

BTW, I ran into Gordy last night grabbing some food on the way home and I told him that us girls haven't forgotten that he was the first to drench us at his home on July 4th and to expect a little payback from us next time. Right ladies?

I cannot believe that four horses trumped my two beautiful daughters.  I'm gonna have a word with you mango lady.
It is a great picture Ada.  You know I'm just kidding.
Gary, don't pay any attention to McGee or KMG.  Being frugal is very Bibical.  You are being a good steward and I admire that especially in a man.  Just don't wear that tee shirt to the next mini, it's a  l i t t l e tight around the middle, if you know what I mean.  Just a suggestion Gary, take Monopoly money to the golf course with you.
Donnie, great video.  You are so talented or have a very expensive computer.
This is the quietest it's ever been on the GB.  Sun sapped every ones strength?
I didn't know there was a earth quake in California.  I think I need to start watching the news.  Hope everyone is OK.
